The movie is about a foreigner (an American) who owns thousands of properties in Europe. He acts entitled because of it. He doesn't like that there are older people in their 50s and 60s working for his company so he tells a manager to get rid of them and bring in new blood. He is in his 40s but he's not married and he doesn't have children. He has sex with prostitutes. And he kills European citizens.
He killed law enforcement officers for doing their jobs. He killed innocent people in a car (men? women? children?)simply because they didn't change lanes.
There were some cool moments and some good points made but it was really badly done.
Not to mention the gaping holes in the plot. He asks a woman in the hospital if she wants justice and she says "Yes" and that's the end of it. The movie never shows the vigilante going after her assailant. Then there are three teenagers in a park assaulting an innocent guy. Two guys and a girl. The vigilante breaks the two guy's bones but the girl magically disappears.
I understand the point it was trying to make and I agree with that point, but it was so terribly executed.
If the below triggers you ... good. Think first, sense where your resistance comes from.
What do you not comprehend about the word: property/ ownership. That is a title right there. A true title. Not some fake one where huggies and a lot of paint is needed to plaster it over.
No, you have your panties in a twist: it is that Mohammedan family and friends that act entitled. It is that immigrant who thrusts a knife in a woman's neck that acts entitled.
It is the judge that acts entitled for not pursuing what is just.
The movie shows you swat teams going after the vigilante, but what are they really after? who is the system, the cult of obedience to orders based on managerial prioritization really after?
How many did he kill in relation to immigrant crime?
In essence, right there in your 2nd line, you are demonstrating to be inflamed by a virus, a mind virus of woke ideology by misapplying what entitlement actually means and building your case on meaninglessness.
As far for the plot holes: typically Uwe Boll. He leaves it on purpose, where you go: wait a moment, is there bias here? And he achieves his aim, you noticed, but did not yet follow through on its meaning. It is occulted to you because you base your view on a bad language.
