It’s Oliver Wolcott. He’s an ancestor of my mom’s. He is also a signer of the Declaration of Independence from the Connecticut delegation.

Myself, I wouldn't see it as bragging. I'd see it as valuing and honoring your ancestor. But then, I've been highly influenced by Far Eastern thought and ethics (ancestors are highly valued and respected, etc).
