Isn't that what you would expect a bunch of assholes like SPLC would do?

That does not mean they were funding the organization, per se, with the organization's cooperation for the purpose of promoting the organization. It just means they were paying spies to spy on the organization from the inside.

SPLC -- a bunch of assholes -- sued an organization they didn't like, bankrupted it, and then paid spies to infiltrate and gather intel even after the organziation had continued operations.

I would EXPECT someone like SPLC (or ADL, etc.) to do things like that.

SPLC is one of the biggest "hate groups" out there.

They are SO hateful that they pay informants to infiltrate -- and apparently, might also engage in financial crimes while doing so. At least, those are the allegations.

According to SPLC, YES!

And they go further by paying infiltrators to gather intel -- presumably so they can launch nuisance lawsuits against them -- and collect some bling bling! Even better for them, they hope to shut down these organizations.

None of this is surprising. The SLPC is a BIG TIME "hate group."

The only thing that surprises me is that it seems like some of you here have only latched onto some headlines and never actually READ what SPLC has been doing.

Some of you have ASSUMED they were secretely funding these groups.

No, they were funding infiltrators, and I would assume that would be to make their lawsuits more targeted, so they could try to destroy groups that the SPLC leaders hate.

The only bad guys here are the assholes running the SPLC.

And I hope they are all prosecuted, along with their paid informant/spies.
