I don't think that's how it works. I could be wrong. But maybe. He could veto it. But then it goes back and could be passed anyway. Which I always thought was kind of dumb.
Why is the federal government involved in housing matters outside of federal land? The federal government should not have the funds necessary to house anyone.
There was a time when houses were paid for by the treasury and banks were middle men. Thats not the case anymore, now they keep the money and lend it to you.

This is old news. He’s not signing it. It will still become law. What this does though, is it denies the republicans the victory lap and photo op with Trump that they made this happen. Trump is telling them, you want me on your side, pass the save America act

Correct, Sundays excepted, or if congress is not in session. His other option is veto it, and can be over ridden by 2/3 of congress.
Well, wouldn't THAT be interesting to watch? 2/3 of both the house AND senate voting the same way? I'd be shocked
