Grok is not a "source" just like Wikipedia is not a source. A source is the news articles, interviews etc. that they get their information from.
Grok is incredibly lazy like all AI. It will go with the most convenient answer. You have to always demand it give you the source for its claims and then check its work yourself.
I did some digging and there is no known photo from 2023 of McConnell in the hospital, alone or with his wife.

I have not looked at all his public photos....
