No one, including Trump himself, expects this to actually happen. It is his time tested manner to throw out a scenario no one wants, combined with the might to make it happen, in order to change behavior. After a couple days, the entire world will turn on Iran to stop causing all Hormuz shipping to become 20% more expensive.
