The people of the UK are rebelling in small ways the government can’t arrest them for. I saw an article yesterday, probably here, that reported that half a million Brits stopped paying for their TV licenses.

I watched the World Cup last night, England vs Argentina and they were begging several times for people to pay for their licence.

If you are in the UK, there is a program called get-iplayer: https://github.com/get-iplayer/get_iplayer

A licence fee is not needed to download quite a few BBC programs from the early 60's onwards, as long as they are on BBC IPlayer. Not anything live, wait for 24 hours and then you can download it.
