The media portrays Iran as being a followup of the old regime, while Trump implies that those he is negotiating with are good people. Who is really in charge in Iran. I had a talk with a colleague of Iranian descent, and said to him that I had the feeling that the top in Iran was in a "war" with each other, and we only hear what the established media wants us to hear. I said it felt to me that Trump was talking to one part. while the other does the bombing. My colleague basically acknowledged that this was the situation.

The deep state/ banks are running Iran IMAO
Yes, but are they still? Isn't fighting DS what the whole Iran war is really about?
They still have some influence/ territory they launch missiles.
The authority to strike was decentralized. So any remaining unit can fire at will.
Just an opinion among millions of opinions, President Trump is negotiating with the future Government of Iran. Each stage of the negotiations is designed to flush elements of the Iran’s version of the DS into the open so they can be eliminated.
so military commaders vs adminisration.
The fracturing and segmentation of the IRGC chain of command vs. the paltry dregs of their constitutional government. The ones who sit in the seat of government are not the ones who have the rifles. The are in chaos and cannot manage it. Think of an octopus with multiple personality disorder and a loss of tentacular coordination. All you get are spells of coherence separated by jerks and spasms.
Yep there have been many Asian channels that have been reporting this civil war
My thoughts exactly, although I thought the regime in the wings would assert itself decisively before now.
The more bombing we do, the more we will have to fund their reconstruction. The rich gulf states should do most of that?
In the larger picture, it is better to fund the reconstruction of a defeated enemy, than to fund the reconstruction of our own defeat.

Bet they call a lot of shots.
They definitively did, but I don't think they do that much any more.
