There are no qualifications for being a legislature. The original intent of the position was for the common American to serve if elected by his peers. So farmers, carpenters, et al were the original senators and representatives. We've seen how the "qualified" have screwed things up. I say bring back the everyday man to serve his fellow peers as it was intended.
