Mike Lindell has recently discussed giving amnesty for illegal aliens. While this is likely going to be controversial here, this may be a good move. Immigrants fill in gaps in the labor market and often start businesses which creates more jobs and improves the tax base. I think this is good optics for the normies as well. We all make mistakes and this kind of amnesty shows that we are reasonable. What makes this even better is that if you offer amnesty, then these immigrants are no longer illegal. Maybe there is a middle ground here, where we can allow amnesty for illegal immigrants who show they are working and integrating into society. Then we don't have to spend so much money deporting them, which is sucking up a lot of tax dollars right now. The Great Awakening is for everyone, regardless of country of origin. I can't wait to see how the Dems are going to fume about this latest move, its brilliant.

Illegal immigrants show drive and initiative. The real losers are those who stay home. The legal path to immigration is difficult and many people don't qualify because they don't have enough money. Traveling to the US, sneaking across the border, and then making that money here shows initiative, and is the kind of bootstraps mentality that built our country. We shouldn't allow people to be parasites, I agree. What about those who have jobs, pay taxes, and don't use any benefits?
I have a job, pay taxes, don't use benefits, and am a legal US citizen. Which crimes should I get a free pass on? Just to make things fair. Or you think only illegals should be allowed to commit crimes with no consequences?
If you trespassed somewhere 5+ years ago, I wouldn't hold that against you. You can call it a free pass if you like. Many immigrants are the same as you in terms of having a job, paying taxes, and not using benefits.
For your analogy to hold, it would be that I trespassed, never left, and just started living in someone else's house, but if I started fixing up the place and being a good boy then I should just be allowed to stay.
I still think all illegal aliens should be deported, and if they are the kind you are describing, then at most I would grant they are still allowed to apply for citizenship, whereas the other kind can never come here again.. but I also think we need a 10 year moratorium on any immigration whatsoever. And should focus on increasing our native population.
If I illegally snuck into another country and lived there for decades, and never committed other crimes, I would never be under any delusion that I deserve to stay there, and it would not be unfair or wrong for me to be removed. (At least we can just respectfully disagree though, instead of you screaming racist or some bs like that)
The immigrant that does the work and deals with the requirements to enter the USA, demonstrates character and intelligence needed to become an asset to America rather than a drain on the American economy.

No, not all those who enter the country illegally (or over stay their visas) drain resources. There are many immigrants who work hard and pay taxes. I'm not saying we have to be responsible for them. I'm just saying, why should we pay money to remove someone who is actively contributing to society?

What are you talking about? Tainted? If they're working and not drawing benefits, then they're making a positive contribution.
