It's too bad that family's with children who have been moving on after a divorce get caught in this blast radius.

There's the step-mom and step-dad aspect of it, the custody sharing agreements etc, weekend with one of the family members new family etc.

The kids would have a Dad, and a step-Dad, that's a non-gay "my 2 dads" situation that this overlooks.
