I know it is probably annoying to get so many questions from newbies, but I was hoping yall could help me understand a little about the Q posts. Does he capitalize certain words for a reason? Is it some sort of code, or just to give emphasis? Same question with the brackets.

imo- yes, for emphasis. Cap letters can reveal a theme or direction.
[brackets] are kill-boxes, targets.
Killboxes are an interesting military call-out, perhaps familiar to people who know the culture either in fiction or real-world contact, but mysterious to others. From my understanding of this from when it was first mentioned by Q, its synonymous with a laser style target designator. "painting the target" if you will, so that guided munitions and weapon systems that look for the laser indicator can autonomously and independently home in on the target.
Also hearkens back to the older WW2 and earlier style tech where a grid coord can be designated a 'killbox' with this being communicated to all artillery, rockets, bombers, howitzers and the like nearby with the imperative that they all open fire with whatever ordnance they have in range of the target area. Turning anything at the coordinate into a wreck or a red mist.
So someone that will be receiving inbound fire in the near future.

So the capitals mean proper nouns.
The brackets used to be interpreted as "kill boxes." Now they're just used like regular brackets.

IMO - a post made on a certain date followed by a related happening or revelation on that date 2 years later, in this case.

A lot of this delta stuff comes from the clock. (Image/explanation in link above.) This clock is so big now that it is really hard to read. I just look back two years in the posts and read those. They DO give hints as to what might happen.

We all thought it meant Nov 3rd...at first we thought 11-3-2017, then nothing happened. Then we though 11-3-2018, then nothing happened. Then 11-3-2019. Same thing, nothing.
THEN Aug 2020 on the 17th (#4621), it all became clear!
11.3 in the post meant KC.
K is the 11th letter of the Alphabet. C is the 3rd letter of the Alphabet. It wasn't a date at all! It was referring to Kevin Clinesmith who was arrested and charge and pled guilty to altering FBI official documents that were used by the FISA Court to grant a warrant for Carter Page which then allowed for spying on the Trump campaign.
If you will look at the DELTA post which was #1828 Aug 9, 2018, you will see "KC" in the string for the FBI. KC was a lawyer for the FBI. We didn't even know who KC was back then in 2018!
Why does Q do this? They can't tell the enemy what's going down. Also, they wanted panic in the Deep State [DS] on dates to force their hand.

Wow. Everything about Q is so methodical and intricate that if feels like it HAS to be real. Lol
Delta comes from math/physics, denotes a change. In regards to droop, it signifies a time differential. The clock is not part of the drops, it was something an anon put together.
I was amazed when the original geeks started developing this. Pure Brilliance ! I tried and tried to follow Q this way in the beginning, but that clock is really hard to look at on a small, tiny computer screen. There is the direct line and then there is this MIRROR line which is important, too. Pretty hard to see it all when the clock is so big.
My husband rolls his eyes when he wakes up in the middle of the night and sees me digging through posts ? he’s just used to it now! Lol
Don't forget the MIRROR line! Two hands on a clock. The minute hand is the main line. The hour hand is the mirror line.
