Thanks for this, BQnita!

But question... Is it because we’re moving into the age of Aquarius that folks associate things they don’t understand as being a new age religion? I don’t really get the ‘new age’ thought process because depending on who one asks - this new age religion is evil this way and that way, of course with no basis on anything aside from their own belief system, if that makes sense.

Anyhoo - would totally updoot, but literally can’t: voting system is totally rigged! Lol

Thank you, TurdFergueson! You have no idea how happy I am for us! We’re both going to leave this conversation having learned something! ?

So... I know it seems like we actually have different beliefs - but don’t take my word for it - eventually you’ll come to realize that we actually ‘believe’ the same thing, no joke! While we’re all on our own individual spiritual paths; some long, some short, some straight, some like a maze... we’re all on the same journey, just different paths. From time to time, our paths cross, some of us travel together for a little while before we go off on our own again. Whenever I come across another, I offer what I can to those looking around; maybe it’ll help them get to where they’re going - who knows, they could’ve been walking in circles for years, passing by an overgrown path they didn’t recognize as a path at all... whatever I offer might help them find their way (or get them lost, but hopefully not, lol). I’ve actually been sitting at a fork on my path for the last couple of years... not scared to choose a path or anything - just don’t think I’m ready for that part of my journey, is all. Might get lost up ahead so gotta make sure I’m familiar with what I might encounter, first - screw that! Hmmm... maybe that is fear?! LOL

Anyhoo - enough of my horrible analogies (I’m getting better, I think, lol)... but if there’s one thing I can offer you it’s this: Forgiveness. I’m referring to you - forgiving yourself. Jesus constantly taught about forgiveness for a reason... It’s hard to do! We might think we’ve forgiven because we tolerate, or don’t bring it up - but that’s not true forgiveness. As you’re probably realizing, it’s a painful process. Forgiving myself for what I’ve done in my past was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my 40 years! Everyone’s different, but it didn’t happen overnight for me... took me a few years. Without forgiveness, those negative feelings take up space from love - and we can’t experience love’s full potential without being able to forgive. It literally changes you. How you see the world, nature, animals, other people... I’ve never experienced hate, but you have and that’s not a bad thing! Appreciate that experience - learn from it and use it help other souls on their journey. We’re all in this together!

Okay - so how about Namaste?! ? It’s been probably a decade since I did some basic research and decided to go with using it as a greeting to others. I think I got the idea on a business trip... The pilot ended his greeting announcement with Shalom. Naturally, I had to understand what that meant. I actually expected people to get nervous because well - people were still scared of muslims being on planes back then! Lol But thankfully no one did. Anyhoo - by the time we landed, I choose Namaste. I won’t even try to remember what I learned about it... but my takeaway was that it’s a way to greet others with respect, recognizing we’re all connected to the same god, oneness, if that makes sense. I know that the religion it came from (India, maybe?) they bow and do the praying hands... yeah no. Not for me - just the word! Lol

What are you thoughts?

BTW - I realize now it wasn’t you Kautilya, I was referring to as being mean and judgmental - it was the other I somehow got you mixed up with - so my apologies!!!

Interesting... seems I’m having some real technical issues! Not trying to be funny - but LoveThineEnemy also your account? I’m asking because I could’ve sworn I was responding to LoveThineEnemy with my eek comment!!!!! And Only checking my messages did this actual comment pop up even though this is the only thread open on my iPad since late morning!

Something’s totally strange is happening, lol... BUT in response to you: yes - I agree 100% lol. I also don’t understand why people don’t want to learn the origins of their beliefs! The unfortunate thing is, the more digital we become, the more knowledge we’re going to lose... The ancients knew how to preserve knowledge the best: handwritten, LOL. In my opinion - the ancient hieroglyphics/symbols were simply brilliant! A written language that can be understood regardless of the language one speaks - we were hell of a lot more ‘advanced’ back then, lol... I’m not so sure about how we’re technologically advancing - I haven’t given much thought whether it’s good or bad for us, lol. I need to though.

angry someone from another region of the world is using the English language to convey a typical greeting in their own language?

Wow - so that’s what his response what all about?! Had no clue - I stopped reading it after the first sentence, lol But I can’t even pretend I’m half as familiar with ancient languages and whatnot as you two appear to be... which is why I’m simply an observer in your convos. But I typically don’t bypass opportunities to learn... just wish you two weren’t so judgmental and mean! It pushes people away, if that makes sense.

Edit: You know... I totally thought your earlier posts with him was with LoveThineEnemy, lol.. Whoops - need to edit my response to him :)

You know... After reading your exchange with Kautilya... I would NOT have expected you to transfer that negative energy - projecting it onto another who wasn’t even discoursing with you. I stopped after reading your first sentence btw - there’s no need to finish it... you’re wrong.

I don’t think you’re a fool or dumb by any means... but for your benefit - you might want to offer another response to my comment. I say this because given how you perceived my comment - who, after having read it - would/could ever trust any of your past or future words? Yes, I know which word I said that got you hot and heated; no doubt you can understand why I don’t think you can deliver a rational message about it, so forgive me for focusing on just your first sentence:

Can you help me understand how did you came to this conclusion:

Can’t updoot because you are literally throwing a slight to someone, because you think the bible is below you, and you throw your words not even knowing that you are speaking with direct descendant...

From this:

Can’t updoot so: Namaste ? 99% on this forum aren’t ready for this level of awakening, but I’ve personally witnessed a couple swallowing smaller pills that they have no idea is actually prepping them to swallow this one, lol. Beautiful, indeed.

I’ll number my questions to make responding easier:

1: Have you considered there might be other reasons why I can’t updoot; such as a technical issue? 2: Do you know if I know the person I can’t updoot, and if that person also already knows me? 3: Aside from apparently offending you, who might I be “throwing a slight” to? 4: What exactly is this slight I threw anyway? 5: Do you actually believe you can read my thoughts to know what I’m thinking? 6: How do you know my reason for “throwing a slight to someone”? 7: Who did I actually “throw” my words to in the first place? 9: If my words weren’t thrown to you - why are taking offense to them? 10: Based on your response to me, how can you claim to be any different than how you perceive Kautilya?

Also - feel free to post proofs of any/every comment I’ve made that led you to believe that I believe the bible is below me.

Your choice to continue this discussion, but it would be greatly appreciated if you at least answer my questions - first. Believe it or not, I would love to discourse with you about the meaning of Namaste! I’m sure you’d be able to teach me something new - but based on what I got out of your 1st sentence... I’m not so sure you’re able to have a rational discussion without being emotionally compromised. Makes too easy to be biased, and not even realize it.

It’s hard to admit to yourself when you’re wrong. I just ask that should you decide to respond to this, please do so with discernment. I only read your first sentence - I’d rather not read the rest; I might be tempted to allow that negative energy you brought into this conversation to take away even more of my positive energy. Yes, negative always takes away from positive - that’s just how math works.

Here’s the thing... I wasn’t bullshitting when I said I would love to have a discussion about the word! But is knowing the history/origin of a word I use as a universal salutation, worth being ridiculed, insulted - basically treated like how the most extreme christians treat everyone who disagree with them (to include fellow christians)? NOT! And so that you don’t have to ‘read my mind’... I said what I said to let you know that I know that your response to me doesn’t help your christian belief in a positive way. It helped to further the ‘stereotype’ - which I imagine, was not your intent.

Edit: corrected user name.

I’m sorry... this is so much more than just plain rude. I’m not ashamed of anything. But you should be. You’re do fixated on attacking - you even attack your fellow Christians, just because they have a different interpretation/view from you.

Don’t you know it’s behavior like this that drives people away from Christianity? Just flat out hateful to everyone except those who you believe are worthy of your respect/love - and you don’t even know who we are - you’re judging us solely on our belief?! You’re mistaken if you think it’s okay to judge people’s character. Judge behavior all day long, but how dare you be so hypocritical of your own scripture! What? Sickens you that “new-age believers” actually believe your bible more than you?

Eek! Don’t want to highjack your convo... but jeez this is scary stuff! Reminds me of how satan rules this earth - with fear! Just saying... I know it’s no use to go into what you’re saying about the ‘original’ church. I just recommend you take a non biased history lesson or two on religion/churches and whatnot.

Regardless of how forceful any religion might be - it’s counterproductive to be forceful if you’re trying to help people see what you believe to be the truth. For what it’s worth.

Wow - why is always Christians who have issue with actually loving their enemies? Ironic comment from someone who calls themselves LoveThineEnemy.

I understand you’re simply warning fellow Christians - but why hate on other people’s belief? There’s really no need for this.

Wait until you find out what’s “powering the tech” if you will... but there’s only one way to find out if there’s something to this right?

There’s so much to learn I’m not sure it’s possible to learn it all in our lifetime, lol. Keep questioning everything! On your journey to self realization you’ll recognize that it’s not the knowledge that’s powerful... no, no. Knowledge isn’t power. It’s what we do with that knowledge that powerful.

But you already know the truth - you just don’t realize you do yet... I really think we all know the truth, we’re just conditioned by the lies we’ve been fed our entire lives, is all. Our ‘reality’ is cloaked by a veil of deception that’s slowly but surely lifting on the masses :)

Thank you for the question! Helps to clarify my rambling, lol.

Yes, the they know the war is real - who just as we don’t know when it’s going to end, neither do they. Who knows what gas satan/his dominions putting in people’s head so they willing support evil - probably tell them they’ll live x thousand years or some shit, lol. Another perspective - a lot of them is probably tricked into “selling their soul” realize their mistake after the fact... basically unless we’ve experienced being solicited to join the devil (or heard it from a horse’s mouth), it’s pretty much speculation. But no worries... this kind of speculation isn’t harmful because how or why they sold their soul isn’t relevant info - at least now in the current context (obviously if we know the tricks of the trade, we can avoid it... just trying to be brief but that’s a whole other convo, lol).

Anyhoo to answer your questions directly:

So are you assuming that by their default opposition to God, that they don't really have free will to switch sides?

Nope, not by any means, but I can see how my wording can be confusing. Basically, it’s just like our lives. We’re born into whatever situation we’re born into - but once we’ve grown enough we choose our own path. For example, by default I was born into a Baptist family...but it was my choice to leave home at 15 - and made my own life. No help ever offered (or asked btw) from my parents, and I’ve achieved what most people call ‘success.’ I love my family unconditionally... but my mother - family matriarch who everyone goes to spiritual guidance; hated me since I was 15 (got married, just to get the hell out of her house, lol). And I’m okay with that. What I’m not ok with is that she refuses to accept me because I don’t share her Christian belief - even though we believe in the same creator! That’s conditional love... is that really godly?

Rant you can skip, lol: No matter what I do - buy niece/brother car... yup, I’m a child of satan... the misinterpretation of the camel/rich man parable always comes up whenever I give money or stuff away. Money is the root of all evil, blah blah... can’t help but wonder why so many pray for it, Lol. I give away willingly, and for no other reason than because I don’t need it! I don’t care that my sister rocks the fuck out the $800 pair of boots that sat boxed in my closet for years; the dozen or so $500 Dooney’s & Brahmins I couldn’t wait to rid myself of. Yeah, first year BMW came out with their 1 series convertible, I had one (omg, it was so cute! Lol). Bought it just because I wanted a convertible - you wouldn’t believe what I drive now, lol. Far different college educated gal who bought her first bimmer at 23, no doubt, lol. But even as I was going through my ‘midlife crisis’ (what I call my 20s - early 30s lol), my ‘label’ phase - I shared the wealth. Not because I thought it was the right thing to do... but because I’ve always known the most important stuff in life isn’t stuff at all! Hell, I’m the big 40 now... getting too old to call myself keeping up with the damn Jones’ lol. Fuck that - time is too short to entertain that shit: stuff - I’ll be 41 soon, LOL.

Jesus offers redemption and salvation, so those who come from Cain's bloodline have no free will for salvation?

I imagine many from Cain’s bloodline have been ‘saved’ since the beginning. But that’s a choice they could’ve only made once their thought process wasn’t being influenced by their belief system. Basically all that they knew since they were born, that’s all.

Sorry - I know you didn’t ask for all of this... but it seems like when I use my pencil to peck at these digital keys, I tend to be more verbose. Which is ass backwards, if you ask me, lol. Plus - it’s a pretty fucking slow day at work,, lol.

Does it really matter? I’m not a Christian... but a fabulous analogy I’m taking from another anon posted just a few minutes ago:

There is always someone above you on the ladder - and someone below. What matters is we are all on the same path upward.

I could care less what religion anyone prescribes to, just as long as we serve the same creator. Eventually it’ll make sense.
