We’re born into whatever situation we’re born into - but once we’ve grown enough we choose our own path. For example, by default I was born into a Baptist family...but it was my choice to leave home at 15 - and made my own life. No help ever offered (or asked btw) from my parents, and I’ve achieved what most people call ‘success.’ I love my family unconditionally... but my mother - family matriarch who everyone goes to spiritual guidance; hated me since I was 15 (got married, just to get the hell out of her house, lol). Something else to consider: GOD is in control. That's obvious right? Jesus said that only God knows the time of the end (God including the Lord Jesus). Consequently, no one else least of all the devil gets to decide when anything happens.

However, I don't think the time is now. One of the conditions that needs to be fulfilled is that the Gospel must be preached throughout the whole world as in the entire world must convert to Christianity and to Jesus Christ. Once that happens, then there will be the Great Apostasy and the falling away. Everything we learned in our time, the Great Awakening, will be forgotten and people will return to their sinful ways. Then comes anti-christ.

Don't buy into the "traditional" interpretation of end times prophecy. We've been told by the established church our entire lives that these people are unstoppable and will succeed in their plans. Is that really what the Bible is telling us or is that what they want us to believe? Does their beast system actually grow to cover the whole Earth? Or are only those in places they control subject to it? There are many gray areas to this situation.

While I believe in ancient religious texts, which includes the bible - I don’t believe the Pauline epistles, nor do I believe the parts of other New Testament books influenced by his teachings. Of course I believe what Jesus taught - it’s universal knowledge regardless of the religion one prescribes to (and I don’t prescribe to any).
