Trump hadn't even finished giving his speech before people were storming into the congressional chambers. The president knows what's up. He doesn't want to put a target on his supporter's backs but he knows that HIS SUPPORTERS were there watching HIS SPEECH, not fighting the police at the capitol.

Yes his supporters went to the capitol. Yes they gave some chants and took some selfies. NO THEY ARE NOT the ones that committed any illegal or violent acts.

When I joined /r/the_donald in 2015, one of the things that I really liked was that it did not operate like the rest of reddit.

If someone had something to say they would stand right up and say it. If you were wrong, you would get corrected on the spot. We had the downvote button there but nobody employed it against fellow pedes. You would correct them and explain why they were wrong and they would either digest it or move along.

How is it that on a board like this where anybody can freely speak their mind, nobody has anything to say except to downvote and move along?

i feel like president Trump had a plan for protest that day and feels let down that it was derailed.

Also he's been 100% consistent since the primaries. He supports the military, he supports law enforcement, he supports the rule of law. To rebel against law enforcement, to act lawlessly, to fight the police is a betrayal of everything he has stood for.

His legacy will not be one of destroying American institutions, but rather of strengthening and restoring them.

There is something going on with this track.

Listen to this small clip from 0:48 with headphones.

I can't spend too much time on it but it's been a real bitch to filter out that droning horn-like sound. Even when I duplicate each channel and phase shift it I can't completely get rid of them.

There is definitely a low-pitched male voice speaking though. I just don't have the skills to clean it up enough to make out all the words.

Didn't AJ follow the same playbook as Cenk Uygur in raising a bunch of funds for reporters and then firing them? They've always seemed to be collaborating on self-promotion and fake "feuds" to me as well.

I remember reading quotes from his former employees that went something along the lines of "nothing about alex jones is what i thought it was but i'm not allowed to say more".

Would be great if it ends up with more dislikes than views

Can you hear it too though?

It's very clear with my headphones but its like a batman-like growling whisper with my laptop speakers.

After some processing, there is very clearly something being spoken by a low-pitched male voice. At 0:48 it sounds like he's saying "freedom of movement" but I can't really make it out.

sample after processing

Processing steps in audacity:

  1. select the whole track
  2. effect->vocal reduction and isolation -> isolate center and invert ( used strength 1.00. i don't think hi/low cut matter for center isolate. tweak them if you do isolate vocals instead)
  3. effect->loudness normalization ( i used -10 LUFS here)

That's it.

I can hear some mumbling in other parts and some clicks/pops and background hiss but I can't make out the words. I'm in a noisy environment and haven't had luck cleaning it up better than this. It definitely sounds like speech to me though
