I did this too.
And I actually did this with my Christian faith right before the pandemic and I think if I hadn't suffered those 3 weeks with tons of doubt and sleepless nights and PAINFUL heartache, considering God amounts to nothing, if I hadn't sat through that pain and journaled and cried and begged for answers and stayed up reading and learning and searching, I don't think I'd have made it through the lockdowns. It gave me SO much strength.
We all need time to take a step back and ask ourselves why we believe things. It helps.

It's 3 am and I'm styling a wig for my company while my husband sleeps because that's literally all I can get myself to do.
Had a really hard time sleeping after Jan 6 because our family tension got really bad, then we got cut off from all social media, Lin and Sidney. we've just been lost and frustrated since then. Spinning in circles. Directionless. Upset at my lack of productivity, but unable to get anything done.

I grew up seeing demons and started seeing angles in my adult life (first time was on my wedding day). The fact that I can FEEL evil is enough to keep my faith going through the hard times. You cannot deny the existence of something deeply dark. If there are demons, there must be something good out there. Everything can be broken down into good and evil. I can feel that this is a spiritual battle happening for our nation.
Think about it- a Godly nation with a constitution written by Christians to reflect a biblical model, and Jesus promising that life will not be easy but He will bless Christians. It's so obvious that there is a battle for our Godly nation!
