Of course, we need go discuss, share observations and make each other think before we make any decisions. We can't vote for the speaker, but we can form opinions and make our voices heard! Happy to have the conversations, in fact I miss having logical conversations & debates!
Very good point! I remember seeing videos of him at the height of the covid lockdowns where he was debating with the other folks in Congress about how the rules are killing small businesses & how they are tone deaf to what the American people are struggling with.
I recall videos of him speaking out against CRT, mandating EVs & other batshit crazy "issues" our government has dabbled in. He speaks his mind and doesn't seem to follow the crowd especially at the height of the lockdowns.
I can find some newer videos but haven't found the ones that made me recognize his name because it's all videos of today. I don't know how he has voted or specifics about him but I know I've never shaken my head in disgust when I've heard him speak, I've felt like he gets it and isn't there to get rich.
If I wasn't at work, I'd dig up some of those videos but they are out there.
Very outspoken conservative from Florida I believe, tons of clips on YouTube of him speaking like a a rational human being so he is basically the opposite of a politician. I want to say he is a truck driver but not sure why I think that. Worth looking him up, I like this guy for Speaker, he is surely the anti-Pelosi!
Bahahahahaha Ginger powers are a good thing as long as said Ginger is aware of them and knows how to use them. I'd say I'm about 75/25 on that front, old enough to know better and young enough to not care!
I am not quite at the point of preparing returns yet. I work for a very OC man who we like to call a democratic socialist. He kisses the ground the IRS walks on and generally wants his preparers to never make mistakes and never get creative with preparing returns. It's difficult to learn because I came from a place of doing everything myself and now I have to have every single keystroke reviewed and re-reviewed because he doesn't want ANY mistakes going out the door. I'm thrilled to be learning from a highly intelligent person and to learn the correct way, but since I didn't come in with years of return preparing experience, he holds me back from learning!
I'd love some remote work, but I'd probably be better at the data entry prep, entering tax doc info and client info; I wouldn't be as much help with tax return preparation because the current teacher won't teach!
I almost started the EA training but realized I'd never get to the hands on part working here! I do the bookkeeping and all of the cleanups of books for small businesses, that keeps me busy but I'd take some remote work doing that even if I could find it!
Oh no! I am SO sorry you're having to deal with this, knowing they still have 2020 tax returns SOMEWHERE is just horrible and I can relate to the repeated registrations, phone calls, verifications, etc. Sure feels like the runaround doesn't it? Maybe instead of hiring more agents to review small businesses, they should hire more staff to process the prior year returns that aren't processed! Saying a prayer for you fren, taking care of elderly parents is hard enough but having issues with the IRS makes that job sooooo much harder!
Have you looked up where's my refund on the IRS website? If not, check that and see what it says. There's a lot of instances of people e-filing, the site shows it as processing and then it just disappears and will show they haven't received the return. Very frustrating but you do need to stay on top of it, just had a client with this problem from his 2020 tax return! Poof, it's gone!
I'm breaking into the tax professional world (yes I'm missing a few brain cells) and I was thinking the IRS is usually closed the first week of the year, am I wrong about this? I know they stop allowing electronic filing of returns around Thanksgiving through middle to end of January but I can't recall where I got the idea their offices are actually closed at the beginning of the year. Nice to meet ya famous YouTube FreedomBoner Tax Attorney! 😃
Uh....you're welcome?
Far out! Thanks for translating, as far as I'm concerned, it was perfect Romanian!
Totally agree with this! Professional scumbag basically, but I saw somewhere that his father was discharged from the USAF & something about him being a narcissist (is that a word?) & that was the reason for discharge. Pretty sure that was another short where Tate was spouting off so take what you will from that information.
Wait, what? The Greta is involved? Is SHE being held against her will? Hmm...
I did dig up some headlines, arrested in Romania for suspecting human trafficking, possibly a woman being held against her will, investigating a local policewoman or ex policewoman, and Tate is saying he was swatted not arrested for trafficking. All speculation at this point, but I guess a person can have hope based on a YouTube Short.
Sauce? Maybe even a translation of what is being said? He doesn't look handcuffed to me but hard to tell with no context. Interesting hypothesis but need further information.
Sounds like they have plenty of tools on staff at SW!
We prayed her through it! It was stressful as this was her 2nd solo flight and 3rd flight ever, but she kept her cool and got through it. Many were not so fortunate! My boss drove to Nebraska from CO and brought home 2 of his friends who had their flights canceled with no way of rescheduling another. They were desperate and just happened to get connected with my boss to catch a ride home. I feel awful for those people that are stranded or have NO idea where their luggage is!
My daughter made it home this morning with her luggage, a bona fide miracle compared to what others are experiencing! Her flight attendant didn't show up but thankfully another stepped up and worked it so SHE could get home. Sounds hinky! Wasn't it SW whose pilots were planning a strike if they forced the jab? So much crap it's hard to keep up...
Thank you, I was just thinking that I need to watch a good movie tonight & this one sounds great!
Yep totally agree with this, we have to get rid of the Soros puppets like Griswold and Gov Penis!
This is solid advice!! Someone needs to hear this, probably someone in Colorado!
I will concur with these observations! Ft. Morgan is an excellent choice but too far from Nederland to commute. I think the Greeley area (Weld County) is also not infected with the lib virus, but not far to Loveland & they are somewhat woke but not as bad as Estes Park. Estes is beautiful but EVERYTHING is triple priced in Estes since its a tourist trap. Idaho Springs I'm also not familiar with, but since it's in the same general area, likely some infection rates but my guess is that its lower than the other 2. I hate that I can't recommend you come here, but I'm glad that you could get some insight before leaving the area you've always known. It sounds like you might have walked into a hornet nest since Boulder County is literally California's mini-me. Praying you find a better solution or that you can hold until the swamp is drained and the rats move on!
I would want some idea of where I would be moving to! I believe they are mostly in the cities, and those that hate it are moving east to our little rural areas and since some of these little town boards have corrupt individuals they are trying to destroy our way of life too. I will forever believe that Colorado is mostly Republican and they had to cheat to win here the same as Arizona, Georgia & probably most of the other states. I think it depends on the town you're expecting to move to & whether u will commute to Denver. If u give me a general list of towns in the area, I would be happy to tell u if any of them offer a chance of good living. Our farmers are incredible and fighting to keep their land, so not every place is a train wreck! Boulder though, hard no, not even a chance you could find happiness there!
Also, some of the towns in the NW are based and they didn't fall for all the covid crap. You might be ok in one of those little towns, but it truly depends which one because Boulder is a cesspool!
Colorado is quickly becoming California. I've lived here my entire life and have no doubt out elections were also corrupt. The cost of living is sky high and even the small towns east of Denver are rapidly becoming overgrown with people trying to get out of the city. I've always loved Colorado, but if I had an opportunity to leave, I'd leave. As lalahemingway mentions, Boulder is the worst place in Colorado to be, they actually charge a fee if you order drinks with sugar, it's a sugar tax, that's one example. Boulder is so woke they can't blink. If you come here, avoid Boulder like the plague and make sure you are offered a well buffered salary because people are renting bedrooms in their houses for $1,000/month & 1 bedroom apartments run $1500-2000/month.
I think you're on to something here, crimes against children and telling people to kill their pets may both work to unite and awaken the sleeping masses. They do seem to enjoy inciting fear & it WILL backfire in their faces!
I think debate is good & healthy, it makes you think & discern. The people of this country NEED to think & discern instead of blindly following what someone else says. We don't have to be jerks to each other, debates can be held between 2 people with the same or similar views or beliefs.
