Send me a private message with questions you have. One of my best friends/adopted brother just recently got elected as mayor, beating the previous that was in their position for almost 2 decades.

There's ways of disciplining your children without beating the living shit out of them. It's the parents that NEVER do anything and let their kids do whatever they want.

I also don't understand what the hell you're talking about. No officer is trying to break up families. I've literally used discretion and chose not to arrest some parents to keep their child out of the system for crimes that I always arrest for, so whatever fucked up perception you share of law enforcement is completely wrong.

Cop here. I jokenly say this to my partners. It's so fucking annoying. I'm so sick of these calls. Don't call 911 when you're out of control child is refusing to turn off his Xbox. I can't do anything. It's not a crime. Be a parent. Oh you're going to file a formal complaint on me for not doing anything because I can't? Great. Democrats will still use that complaint against me to paint myself as a bad cop even though I've done nothing wrong.

How old is he?

Because tbqh, if he's young, more than likely there's nothing to see here because our youth wears dumb shit like this religiously thinking it's funny.

Edit: it's the same generation that wears a shirt that says "Virginity Rocks" in an ironic manor. I really wouldn't look too much into this because their hurmor is very.. different. I even showed my teenager this pasta hoodie asking if she'd wear it and she said yes in a heartbeat.

Maybe I can shed some light.

It's not so "corrupt" but more of damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Scenario one: mayor directed chief to stand down.

(Alternatively, wanting to do something, but has no support of the city to do so.)

Scenerio two: (Portland for example) DA won't charge anyone who is "protesting" even if it includes burning, looting, rioting. No point in arresting somebody if an hour later they're free to go because the state dropped the charges on them.

What point are you trying to make?

Officer here.

Can you point out what you're referring to about just the other day?

And it's pretty hard to do our jobs when we have "woke" politicians, DA's, and prosecutors who refuse to do their jobs. Why am I going to arrest somebody for selling hard drugs when the state won't press charges because, to the left, that's a horrible thing to do? Why should we be proactive when our great leadership will throw law enforcement under the bus, if a situation arises because of our actions?

Law enforcement is fucked in this country. The left has completely thrown all the problems on law enforcement, while sucking the dicks of criminals.

We literally cannot do our jobs.

Meanwhile my governor made it so if the actions of us law enforcement result in deadly force being used, then we are responsible and can be found guilty of murder.

It's why we can no longer serve high risk warrants and why I'm refusing to do traffic stops unless it's extremely necessary because I'm not putting myself out there having less rights than a citizen who legally defends themselves.
