No. They are still "encouraging" in NE Texas. 🙄
I'm feeling the pressure from my family as well. I'm going to talk to my holostic doctor ask if he recommends the vax. I'm almost sure he doesn't.
Not this one...nor will I take the vaccine. Find a good small school like ours in NE Texas. We only wear masks until we sit down to learn. I believe masks will go away soon for us. I wear a small face shield that only covers my nose and mouth. I have been teaching since July with only 1/2 a day where we had to shut down. We don't have the crazy rules like some schools.
A local PD used rubber bullets in a lock down exercise for a teachers' professional development in which we practiced what we would do to an intruder. I was a teacher who "got shot" and it hirt like fire. I really don't suggest it. Looking back it was crazy and a bit traumatic. Some teachers went overboard and knocked down staff members. Some school furniture was damaged.
