Teachers need to know enough about children to keep a classroom in order, which means teachers who can teach can undermine parents teaching (if parents are not careful). As a teacher, I completely hate their using the skills I don’t get paid enough to hone. Yes I get summers off, but during the year I put enough extra unpaid hours to = working the summer. That is not counting overtime. IMO - parents need to be on the school board, on the PTO, a d volunteering in the classroom. This will reduce the amount of “fuckery” happening.
More - IMO and experience, the guided reading method of teaching reading is ineffective, and actually harms children. It really only helps good readers (who have involved parents, or tutors). It will further slow kids who can’t read well (inner city, poor kids, and those whose parents can’t or don’t read with their kids). Guided reading is the “premier” teaching method for reading in our nation, pushed much harder in big cities.
Preaching child abuse, rape and mutilation to the world? Way to go pedo joe, I guess having at least half of the country (and probably a lot of the world) thinking you are a child molester means you need to convince the rest?
To exist as a man, doesn't require any crime against any person. Same for being a woman, zero crime, no necessity of any harm to anyone.

I pulled out my babies in Aug. 2020 and haven't looked back. Homeschooling has been the opportunity of a lifetime to learn even more about my babies. PLUS! I started a business from home printing curriculums, unit studies, etc. for homeschooling families.
Feeling so fortunate for this opportunity.

Find a good small school like ours in NE Texas. We only wear masks until we sit down to learn. I believe masks will go away soon for us. I wear a small face shield that only covers my nose and mouth. I have been teaching since July with only 1/2 a day where we had to shut down. We don't have the crazy rules like some schools.
If you want to raise a child to become a self-reliant adult, homeschool. Even private schools are only a lesser evil of the public indoctrination camps.

The REAL solution is school vouchers. The tax money should follow the kid, and the parents select the appropriate school.
