What crime has been committed here? You've said yourself there's no record of purchase. All that seems to have happened here is that weird post was made on Etsy selling an image for $10K.
I can make that same post right now if I wanted to. Would you like to investigate me? Or would that be Etsy's fault for allowing me to post?
You’re very much appearing to operate on assuming guilt first.
If they’re innocent, and if there is no foul play at hand, then they have nothing they need to answer for, yet you’re demanding it without any sort of evidence of a crime
no info on sales if any
Then I’m not sure then why you’re expecting Etsy to have to answer. If there’s no sale, and no real engagement, and it was removed, then there’s no issue.
It seems you’re preemptively outraged before getting the info.
At a minimum it may fall under solicitation.
If we’re really talking minimum then at minimum it falls under pointless spam posted by a troll just to get someone riled up thinking there’s something dark going on.
Pizzagate isn’t some niche thing. Everyone knows about it. It’s on mainstream news. It could very well just be someone making the post just to stir trouble
Because they said so
What is this comment referring to? Who said so? Said what?
You’re talking about your concern that Etsy is, for some reason, not talking about a couple spam posts that have been on their site. By what we’ve both seen, the posts were made and deleted quickly
What’s cryptic is that I’m not sure what else you want Etsy to do in this situation. They deleted the post, what else do you want?
…lol why are you talking cryptic with me all of the sudden?
What more are you looking for from Etsy? It seems here a post was made, and Etsy quickly deleted it. How else are they supposed to respond?
I don’t know why they need to address every single spam post
It's also interesting to note that the posts were supposedly made on Dec 11, same time as this tweet, which raises two questions:
-
Could the author of the tweet had some inside knowledge that those were posted?
-
Why was the author of the tweet searching for pizza on etsy, a place for crafts, not food?
Well that I can't really say. Unless we know that those are actually being removed from the internet archive there's not really anything we can surmise. All we have is you saying it happens, without any specific reference.
We know that the ones in OP's post ARE in the archive though
Guys how do you not get this is a blatant troll
Would you like me to make a post on etsy? I will
