We have two options in the face of what's coming. We can give up, or we can fight. I'm going to do what I can as old man to fight for my families life and freedom, and that is all I can do.
Disparate younger generations have come to believe that the only option that will provide them with what they want is to give up their freedom for comfort. In the end they don't realize they will end up with neither.
But they do not know a period like the one I, and many of you grew up in. In my time, when a kid turned 18 yrs old, they could afford to move out of the parents house, as I did.
When I got married, on a single income, we could afford to buy a house, have a child, have two new cars, a sailboat, pay for various membership activities, save for retirement, give to church, and have some left over at the end of month. During this time I never worried that I would be jobless, and put out on the street. I did not ask for a dime from anyone.
I also did not look at other people that had more as though life was unfair. If I wanted more, it was up to me to earn it, was my thinking.
What is it like for young men and woman today?
Unless you lucky, no matter how skilled you are at your job, you have no job/employment security. To your company, you are an expense called head count. There exist no loyalty between employer and employee, there is only the bottom line.
What young person today has a vision of having long term employment, earning a living, getting married, buying a house, raise a family, and be able to afford to live a decent life.
The worse thing is not there is no opportunity, but that their exist no hope of opportunity. What is freedom is you can't eat, can't provide for your own posterity, , is one question. The other is what is life without freedom.
