Seriously - did we really need to 'prove' that the earth is not flat by having a Q post on the subject? Like, if Q hadn't said anything, we'd be seriously considering it?
I've flown around the world a few times on business trips; a look out the window is all it took ....
Well, by that logic, there's no reason to have more than one grocery store per neighborhood, but we have Safeway, Lucky, etc; or more than one car dealership, but we have Ford, GM, Toyota, etc - private enterprise and competition; availability, etc. If I'm making a series like West Wing, I am gonna want to have access to the set pretty much continuously so if some rival show wants to film a similar scene, they'll build their own.
Here's a 2014 article on Quora (which sucks as a site, but fulfills the need here) https://www.quora.com/Does-each-movie-that-needs-to-shoot-a-scene-in-the-Oval-Office-build-its-own-set-or-is-there-a-replica-of-the-White-House-somewhere-in-Hollywood-that-all-the-productions-can-rent
Well, not sure what it matters but the general terminology is 'City Of London' and 'City Of Westminster', etc. City of London does not refer to the entire big metropolis, just the financial district. This link should drop you right on a map with City Of London outlined: https://www.google.com/maps/place/City+of+London,+London,+UK/@51.5150422,-0.1107947,14z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x487603554edf855f:0xa1185c8d19184c0!8m2!3d51.5123443!4d-0.0909852 and this should do likewise for City Of Westminster: https://www.google.com/maps/place/City+of+Westminster,+London,+UK/@51.511853,-0.1986146,13z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x48760535987c03c7:0x40eae2da2ec67a0!8m2!3d51.5145337!4d-0.1595389
Historically these were independent jurisdictions but are now just areas. Somewhat like Manhattan, Bronx, etc in NY.
Street signs still reflect the historic districts (some) http://worldofsigns.com/themes/london-street-signs/
There must be dozens if not hundreds of fake Oval Offices used by movies all over the place. I imagine each major studio has a semi-permanent OO set to use whenever they have a show or movie that needs it. I suspect most are in Hollywood. Since Biden was seen clearly at the Capitol (ignoring the theories that the inaug was staged), not clear how he could get to California and back without obvious tracking, so if it was a set, it would have to be an East Coast set. So how many sets are setup on the east coast?
2, Patriots haven't done anything to warrant the lashing out....the epic FF fail on 1/6 was embarassing for them and they know that America knows they were behind it and there have been zero episodes since. The "OMG Trump supporters are violent" rhetoric doesn't work.
I don't see any indication in MSM or with my lib friends that 1/6 was a FF. I think the rhetoric IS working.
Of course I saw that; I pasted that also. So the Guardian said 'only happens following a president's death', but the White House said it's standard practice. This was the white house under Trump, not Biden, so why would the White House spokesperson lie?
And I also re-read the 'Travelocity' woman's post. She said the area outside the WH is a mess, due to daily, ongoing protests. She wasn't talking about any particular protest, just the fact that there's always 'some' protest and thus, the place is a mess. But then she said, it finally calms down in the evening and is beautiful when the lights go out at 11pm.
I just saw this article pop up ... not sure why today ... https://www.politico.com/news/2021/01/31/donald-trump-pac-millions-gop-464250
The concept of 'question everything' is a great philosophy, but in reality, one has to exercise judgement. If you question 'EVERYTHING' a) you will go crazy and b) you will spend your entire life questioning things and not enjoying life. You have to draw the line. Where you draw that line is a choice, but it has to be drawn.
