The speaker of the house has absolutely no authority over any national guard element. Governors can activate their respective states’ guards, or the president can mobilize them to assist active duty troops (and the president can activate the DC NG).

I think we can all agree that anything and everything that does or does not happen is proof that the world is run by an all-powerful Evil cabal but also The Patriots Are In Control and just taking their time in taking out Satan-worshipping baby eaters because who doesn’t love a good movie where the Good Guys seem on the cusp of defeat but pull out an awesome victory LOL ammirite??
