you're going to get downdooted AF for expressing this here as I have been, lol

I'm not some great great scholar of Buddhism, but I spent some time in the past browsing through different teachings, names for concepts and such, there are a lot. many of them seem to contradict each other and I didn't really understand why. That lack of cohesion led me towards the Zen school, as well as a bit of Toaism. It seemed to sort of, 'get to the point', more. What I was searching for was an explanation of the thing that had happened to me 15 years ago, for which I had no context, being a former radical atheist. I was simply looking for a way it had been described that I could point directly to and say 'that's it!' seeking validation...

anyway, more recently, since the assassination attempt, and things are beginning to 'happen' again, and I started seeking out the names of concepts that I had forgotten. I had grown arrogant, selfish and lazy in my 'attainment' and discarded everything. I thought I had no use for it

So I started reading the history of all the Buddhist schools, the branching teachings, schisms, heretical teachings etc. This time I was curious about why the contradictions appeared to exist and what the meaning of the different schools represented. Anyway look it's really complicated and I'm not an expert on the topic, eventually I began to read some sutras from the Mahayana tradition that developed later than the earlier schools, and came to the lotus sutra, and specifically chapter 16.

It was literally covering the topic of my recent existential dilemma that was causing me so much so much fear and panic. As I was reading it, the dharma was unfurling as the lotus, everything aligning, ultimate synchronicity sensation. Can't really explained it. Scared the hell out of me, but not in a negative sense. Fearful at the sheer almighty reality of all dawning on me, but knowing finally, having confirmation it was indeed as I suspected all along.

I think what people, specifically fundamentalist Christians, get hung up on is the different terminology used and the funny sounding words. I've already been accused of worshipping a false god demon that speaks in a foreign tongue, lol

I'm not a Buddhist, in any sense really other than that the terminology speaks to me and the way the logic flows fits with how I process things, so I just enjoy reading Buddhist stuff, occasionally, to gain insight into specific ideas. I'm not and will not ever be interested in any sort of dogmatic religious view of any kind

They get so hung up on this word Buddha and imagine it some false deity, and don't understand it's meaning at all. 'Awakened one'. It's just a title, not the name of a deity. Just as 'Christ' is a title, not a name.

I think if you are able to see within that chapter of the lotus sutra what I have seen, and if you have a belief in Jesus, you will agree with me that it is perfectly reasonable to assume that Jesus was indeed the Buddha appearing for the benefit of sentient beings, to teach them in accordance with what they were able to understand.

if you want to flip it around the other way, you can think of it as Christ appearing to all beings, even as the Buddha, etc.

and infact, ultimately and mind-blowingly and frighteningly, appearing as ALL beings, appearances and phenomena throughout infinite space and time. and that, on some level, is what we are as well.

obviously, this very, very far out there stuff. Its the stuff that people speak of after monumental doses of acid or mushrooms, its so incredibly unbelievable, to the point of retardation and insanity, that you likely reject the concept. It simply isn't possible. And yet upon closer inspection, is the only possibility, in my opinion.

It sort of doesn't matter, ultimately, because it is what it is anyway, and that's just what it does and how it operates.

It's a completely mystery that is unfathomable, blossoming before us eternally

just to point out, the setting of the lotus sutra is at some mystical gathering of tens of thousands of fantastical beings in some pretty tripped out place. It may not actually have occurred in a literal sense, but I don't ultimately think that matters at all. What matters is the possibility. Given an infinite reality and an eternity, if the possibility exists, it happened out there, somewhere at some point. Quite literally. If you really think about it, that's how whacked out it is. In some far off corner of the universe or in some dimension or realm, there is an entire planet of Trump-like creatures, endlessly debating each other and saying 'you are fake news'. I mean that's pretty silly but it surely exists within the infinite. The implications are literally endless, and going on and on is only going to lose you if I haven't already lost you.

I just think it helps to have a sense of humour about it because it can get very 'serious' and overwhelmingly morbid at times.

they don't have to reflect the reality, only manipulate enough to give a plausible scenario with which to steal it. I know that one way or another, we win this in the end, it's just a question of how much a fight the dying enemy puts up, and how much of a shock will be necessary. What the Q team is sitting on, should even a fraction be revealed, will result in the blowing of so many minds, people will suffer and panic. The less that is revealed, the slower, the better in my opinion.

If we reach the point of WWIII inevitability, which I think we nearly have, they're going to have to unload of MOAB to prevent it.

the name of a foreign demonic false god, indeed brother

AND WHO IS YOUR GOD?

WHAT IS HIS NAME

DID JESUS SPEAK IN ENGLISH?

😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

are you aware that different languages exist, or does your god only speak English, and all foreign tongues demonic?

Truly, some people are retarded

It is hard to have compassion for them at times.

Witness how they attack the humble messengers of Truth. it is no wonder that great violence and war will come to pass, if this is the God they follow.

You people, that believe in time travel, secret teams of patriots with a master plan, puppet masters behind the scenes, and yet you can't comprehend that different words in different languages can have the same meaning.

It is no wonder that you lack real Faith, it is no wonder that you do not see.

I appreciate your optimism but I am very fearful still.

Even though I have believe I may have glimpsed how the movie ends, this part is still terrifying for me. It certainly doesn't appear as though we are winning, in the past few days

This was always going to be the problem. The poor kid is hated by half the country and can never have a normal life. His future was always going to be as a speaker for gun rights activism and conservative issues. His future is in grifting what he can, and with others grifting from/through him. Those groups have their own agenda and they've got to him

Like I say, was always going to happen, and it's pretty sad actually Where were the people that should be looking out for him?

I see you enjoy the Hindu flavour or description, I personally like the Buddhist depiction, it appeals to obsessive autist in me :)

I like it because, if you read the later Mahayana sutras, it is revealed that the destiny of all beings is to become Bodhisattvas and eventually Buddhas, not just a chosen few, and to hell with the rest. It's a lesser know, at times suppressed view, fascinating history how it was developed. However I believe it to be the logical correct and most compassionate one.

I see Trump as a great Bodhisattva, at this point, unironically, whether he himself realises it or not

Same meaning as what you have implied.

Truly brother I am not a Buddhist nor a Hindu, I follow no dogma of any kind. I am not preaching to you any kind of Buddhism. Indeed those people are deluded in their understanding. My understanding, however, is not deluded.

I am translating to you, the true meaning of what is said, that others have not seen, and yet some have.

words across languages and cultures may be different, but contain the same meaning. Why is this a difficult concept to grasp?

when you see the way, the 'dharma' you will see clearly that 'Christ' has the same meaning in many languages.

I can speak to you of it in whatever terms, concepts, forms etc you would like

If you wish only to stay within the Judaeo-Christian context, that is fine.

If that is the case, my words are not for you.

you will be as sheep, dutifully taken care of by the good Sheppard, protected from all wolves and dangers in his mercy and love. he will be as the keeper of the gate of your enclosure.

There is no harm in this, yet still you are a sheep.

2 Corinthians 3-17

I hear what you are saying brother but with the onset of realisation, the body can experience great distress as the ego desperately clings to itself, realising it's annihilation. There is a season for gentle, simple teachings that comfort and quietly dispel illusion and lies, and a season for thunderous, piercing teachings that shake the heavens and the earth and fill the body full of fear. To deny such experiences is to deny the truth.

are you speaking to me brother? What, in anything that I have said, makes you think that I deny Christ, in any which way whatsoever?

the lotus represents many, many spiritual concepts. Forget all that for now, lets look directly at what it is, what is it's appearance.

It blossoms concentrically, each ring of petals opens a fraction, revealing further layers of petals inside, before finally fully blooming and presenting the golden pistil within. The 'womb' of the flower

this is called 'buddha-womb//matrix/nature' and is present in ALL beings

Picture a great mandala, like a lotus, however you want to picture it, some psychedelic vision perhaps, blooming, blooming, endlessly revealing further and further. That is how you would perceive it zooming in, in a linear fashion of time, from past to present to future

But also zooming out, the same pattern

Ultimately beyond our linear ability to comprehend time.

Going in all directions, through all dimensions, in all forms, appearances and phenomena

That's what it is

Just doing that

eternally.

this is something like the beatific vision or any other depiction of it

that song comes to mind, 'it had to be you... it had to be you.... wondered around, finally found...'

ringing so true in so many ways. It could only ever be Trump, you know?

Only someone so independently wealthy and famous could enter politics without being given the golden handshake to do so. Only a man so obviously flawed, conceited and narcistic would ever believe he had a CHANCE. And only through his flaws and imperfections could he truly come to know god, to be saved by God's grace, and now motivated by great compassion, fight tirelessly for all of us, no longer just for himself.

Truly he is an example to all, and reflection of ALL of our inner spiritual lives.

He's a Great Orange bodhisattva, and I say that with the deepest respect and sincerity, but also humorously. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKu5Vyukp0E

Vishnu is depicted as the one blue with the pink lotus, perhaps there is significance, or not, that Trump's lotus gift was white.

but brother surely Kamala has been chosen for this very specific reason, given her name, intentionally either to confuse or mock, or create doubt that perhaps 'they' were the good guys all along. Or was she chosen by by the 'good guys'? I'm not even sure which is which at this point.

Brother do you see also? I see and yet I'm still afraid, the eternal infinite vastness of it, the great mystery

I know that that is only the ego that is clinging and thrashing about at the thought of it's extinction, and that the answer is to accept it and let it be, and yet I'm afraid

Am I the only one now witnessing the lotus unfurl? Tell me brother please

brother, read chapter 16 of the lotus sutra, The Lifespan of the Tathāgata https://www.bdk.or.jp/document/dgtl-dl/dBET_T0262_LotusSutra_2007.pdf

if you truly have an open heart, the truth will reveal itself to you as a lotus unfurls The truth about Jesus, Buddha, the nature of God, what Q really is.

So it turns out that Kyle Rittenhouse has come out vocally saying he won't be voting Trump because he is 'bad' at protecting gun rights.

This, right here good people, is exactly the problem

There are those of us that want someone that wants to be ban all abortion, uphold every gun right and be perfectly godly and American AF according to some extreme 'conservative' belief.

This is PRECISELY what the left attacks and paints us ALL to be, we are not all like this. This is why there was no 'red wave'

There is no candidate living, that we are aware of, that has the possibility to realistically run and win the US presidential election. The choice is Trump vs whoever the dems put up, simple as that. That is your choice. The Trump we know will at least have somewhat decent foreign policy and not be a total tyrant, vs WWIII. That's it.

If that offends you, sorry not sorry. I don't care about your conservatism or ideals. We must elect Trump, prevent WWIII, the death of billions. That simple, take it or leave it

Bryson's still supporting Trump, pretty sure he's talking about Rittenhouse
