New Zealand is also in recession, inflation still rising, housing shortage and our Prime Minister wants to double our population.... unbelievable.. we never had these problems before the start of the immigrants arriving... We do not have the infrastructure to handle what we have.Wellington has failing water infrastructure losing 40% of the fresh water through broken pipes.... these politicians have no idea of reality.

In New Zealand we were such a peaceful country, with a low cost of living and a Government who acted for the people (no longer) so the idea of owning guns never crossed our minds.Only farmers and those few city people had guns for sport , duck shooting, and pest control in the rural areas, possums rabbits etc.. Today I am not sure who would still possess guns here.

Agree- Petrol dollar collapse, hyperinflation as all US debt returns to nest. Likely civil war... nothing good for sure... but what do I know? I am just a New Zealander whose country is being turned into a communist state and there is nothing we can do about it... At least you guys have guns, maybe you need to call on the Oathkeepers to sort this mess out... everything the Dems do goes against the Constitution yet no one seems to want to protect it... maybe time to water the tree of liberty... God bless and protect the patriots, good luck, ours has run out...

In my opinion the reason to stack Gold and Silver is for wealth preservation not as a form of exchange while in the crash. Once a new currency has been established then you convert the Gold and Silver into the new currency. If you just have old dollars, even as cash, it will become worthless just as Weimar Republic marks became wallpaper.
