My current job had that issue. they had a whole india team dedicated to do what I do. Not one of the india team could deliver any project on time. meanwhile I fixed not only their problems but managed to refactor what they had created and made it run as best as possible. it took the head 5 months before finally deciding that the india team was just a waste of money. low and behold now we're having budget issues cause we wasted so much on the India team that never did anything.

Been trying to read it every night. I just got to Exodus I'll see about getting that audio book so I have something to listen to during the day.

Doing software for so many years and more and more I've been at companies that just outsource to other countries. India specifically. Every company I joined eventually went towards only outsourcing because it was a cheaper option.

thank you. yeah I've been looking into how to get in that field. Getting an apprenticeship seems to be the way to go so I'm looking into that since at least the apprenticeship will pay enough to just sustain while I get certified. that and I'm tired of living in a big city so I'll be looking to leave the big city for a more smaller county that doesn't have a soros bought DA.

I've about given up on my career field and with Elon and Vivek wanting to keep using h1bs to replace me I don't see that as a sustainable industry anymore.

Been weighing options on what to do next. Part of me is thinking joining local fire fighters another part is looking into getting an apprenticeship to pursue electrician work. Can't stay in the same industry anymore cause the industry I'm in vehemently uses the h1b stuff to replace me for cheaper.

Amen. That's my goal for this year. Putting away all distractions now. Computer. Tv. And even got a dumb phone to avoid social media and focus on hitting the gym, eat healthy, eliminate all sugar, and fix my sleep schedule. My goal is to also read the Bible in full next year. Here's hoping I can do this. If I fix my health well enough I may join the mil or join the fire department. We'll see.
