Just think how long it would have taken police to open that door at the school without this training.
There was also a training exercise at the Uvalde high school for a school shooting event this past March (3/22 I believe). Was this to prepare for the event this week? Maybe this explains why a “shooter” can walk right into the building but it will take police 40 more minutes to figure out how to open a door. They learned lessons from Sandy 1.0. Do not take pictures or leave documentation. Don’t want to open the door for too many questions. Where are the pictures of officers entering the building, triage units taking care of wounded, stretchers with injured, careflight choppers, dozens of ambulances? Could this be Sandy 2.0? At least they got a drone picture of a porto-potty that was brought in. Sandy Hook, line, and sinker?
Has anyone found photo’s of the police, tactical team, or border patrol actually going into the school? How about photo’s of a triage area? Any stretchers with patients? I’ve seen one photo with less than 5 ambulances when there were something like 17 or more injured and 21 killed. Where are the photo’s of dozens of ambulances. I’ve seen one photo of an empty stretcher/gurney. I’ve looked at 8 to 10 different photo/news sites and can find no photographic documentation of the event when it was happening. Most photo’s apparently were taken of parents/guardians crying, etc., well after the shooting. (The aftermath). I do not mean to be cold hearted, but find it unusual that we have a grainy clip of the shooter easily walking into the school, but very little of anything but the aftermath. Now the most significant clip is of police putting parents on the ground. We are also being told to believe the shooter could walk right in the school, but the police/tactical team could not enter because the doors were locked. Maybe my search efforts were not wide enough to locate these photo’s. I was able to find a drone/overhead photo showing a porto-potty that was brought in. If you have seen such photo’s, post a link. And the MSM as always focuses on laws leading to gun confiscation. The real focus should be on how did society fail the children. It is too obvious the police department, the school board, the Texas dept of education, and the dept of public safety all failed. It is evident there was no plan of how to address this by local government nor apparently state. Why did police need to wait 40+ minutes for a tactical team to arrive? Why had the local school board not ensured schools were safe / entrances require access credentials? Why did TX dept of education not ensure safety parameters for all schools were in place? Did we really need to rely on a Federal Border Patrol agent to save our children when every child should be safe at school? The issue is not how we remove guns from society. Evil individuals will always procure the means to commit evil deeds. The issue is major corrections with police, school boards, etc. need to happen to protect our children. For an epic failure of this size, maybe it is Sandy 2.0?
