Missouri is a hidden gem, but the personal property tax is annoying. I do pay only $30 a year in property tax for 20 acres of land so it's a decent trade off.
Are you looking at the Ozarks or more north? If Ozarks, don't overlook North Arkansas, another underrated area.
Your parents must be good with technology. When I was younger I knew how to reset the router. For years my parents relied on me like I was a professional IT guru. Even my wifes parents called me from out of state to list things on Craigslist and troubleshoot their printer...
Reagan had a quote about how liberal policies are based on inaccurate information rather than a lack of intelligence. "They know so much that isn't so". Lots of really smart people are just missing that one little piece. Hence the red pill... Once you open your eyes you can't go back
I personally enjoy my awakening story.
I was liberal. Not really involved or interested in politics at all, just a normie, basically. One of my old buddies on Facebook posted something about Trump, and we started debating. I of course had no idea what I was talking about. Just parroting what I'd heard passively from friends and on TV.
I was determined to win the argument so I started digging deep. I had to prove him wrong. Didn't take me long to realize .... I was wrong.
So I started paying more attention. I'd listen to the news bash Trump, and then I'd research it. 100% of the time, they were lying.
Alas, here I am.
I wish Eric Daughertys tweets weren't spammed here all day
