I can't believe this isn't being talked about here. I saw the movie "Poor Things" being advertised on streaming recently. The next day, I watched a video talking about the movie and all the Oscars it had won.
The plot? A woman goes to commit suicide, and before she dies, a guy takes a baby's brain, puts it in her head, and now has an adult woman with a baby brain. She becomes a prostitute. This is a mainstream movie showing about as much sex and nudity as possible. And the entire time, the woman has a baby brain and is incapable of making decisions for herself!
This has to be a means of normalizing sex with either children or the mentally disabled or something. The plot is literally about an adult baby engaging in as much sex as possible. Just being groomed for sex from her "birth". The plot is absolutely disgusting.
I post this so you can be aware too.
We have been trying to educate my eldest child at home. We passed up a great charter school to educate her at home. However, my wife feels like she cannot go on doing this.
First is the difficulty. If my daughter grows bored, she just pretends like she can't do the work and cries. For example, she didn't want to do math, so she pretended that she couldn't count objects and say the correct number (six objects, and she insisted that there are seven). She cries during her lessons because she doesn't want to do the work.
Second is that my daughter is bored all day. She literally has been begging "to go to a government school" like her friends so she can "see them on the bus and at recess." We're having a hard time finding anyone locally for her to play with during the day. She won't do additional lessons or activities and just whines non-stop about playing with other girls.
My wife is at her wits end and tells me that she hates doing this, even though she was the one who made the final decision to homeschool!
When I've had to take over lessons during the day, my no-nonsense attitude seems to get us through lessons smoothly, but her boredom and constant whining is a real point of contention.
What do we do? She's already in four extra-curricular activities. Local clubs fill up fast, so she can't join those. There should be dozens of nearby families doing homeschool, but apparently not?
I have a bored child and an exasperated wife. Help!
I've decided to run for city council. It's about time I did something more to help win the fight. I remember a post from either here or PDW that had the contact information of someone who can help you get elected. I thought that I had saved the info in a note, but I can't find it.
Does anyone else remember this post or do you know effective ways to get elected?

It's THANKSGIVING. A day when you remember the struggle that the Pilgrims endured and the help they received from the Wampanoag people and God to settle this land and establish this country. Calling it "Turkey day" strips the meaning from the day and ignores its significance. I seem to remember tweets floating around last week starting that Boe Jiden would be making a 9/11-style speech today. Where is it? Did I get the date wrong?
New video from Project Veritas. At around 22 minutes, the woman talks about how she received two letters from DHS. One stated that she must be allowed to purchase gas. The other said that she was essential to restoring communications. I don't recall these details from her first Project Veritas videos.
It sounds to me like something either was or is planned to prevent sale of gasoline, and this seems to correlate to a shutdown of communications.
Sorry if this is old news, because these details are brand new to me.
