National Guard is normally always authorized use of lethal force. Rules of Engagement are the same as they were for the summer of love protests.
It is not out of the ordinary that NG is permitted to use lethal force to protect themselves, citizens or sensitive items.
Army General Orders of the Sentry:
"I will guard everything within the limits of my post and quit my post only when properly relieved."
This statement above is a general order for all sworn members of the US Army. Furthermore, ROEs state, we have the right to engage when deadly force is presented with no other means of descalation.
We are not instructed to fire into crowds even if deadly force is presented. You need to have a clear target with a clear background to engage and neutralize threats. Otherwise, you stand down.
Regardless, STAY HOME. Your life is not worth it. There may be a time in the future but now is not it.

I wouldn't read too much into NG "authorizing use of deadly force". Rules of Engagement were like that during last years riots. Just some first hand experience. Special Forces National Guardsman are completely a thing guys. They have whole units that are SFNG. Just as skilled and in some ways more versatile.
There is a reason we take the Oath of Enlistment. This isn't some old time tradition, it is for times like these to fight against blatant tyranny. You swear an oath to the constitution first and foremost. God Bless America.
It is a beautiful country being destroyed by corrupt govt and drug lords. That said there are safe places for Americans to visit. I would only go with a friend who knows the culture though
