Considering the Byron nuclear plant isn't terribly far, it's certainly worth considering.

It usually happens at 10am the first Tuesday of every month (primarily for tornado stuff).

Typically it lasts for somewhere around a minute, but this was definitely abnormal.

The land itself is beautiful (in most areas anyway). Born and raised here myself as well, but I've had enough of the high taxes and general acceptance of the way things are here. Only way I can speak up at this point is to not be here paying their ridiculous taxes and BS fees which all get squandered anyway.
