My work is saying that anyone who's not vaccinated will need to get tested twice a week (even if they're working completely remotely). It's just punitive.

That's what they've said anyway - so far they haven't followed through with anything, and I'm not going to be the one to remind them.

Yup. My work gives me 2 weeks off if I or someone in my family has covid.

I have "The Outline of History" written by H.G. Wells in 1924 & it's dense but really well-written and fascinating. You can easily find copies of it in specialty bookstores if interested, it's fairly common.
