I can see how Trump saying God made him lose in 2020 could come off as a cover-up, especially with devolution and Q+ ideas. But as a Christian, I think he might just be leaning into that implicit faith thing—where you don’t always spell it out, but you know God’s running the show. Like, he’s not a pastor, just a businessman-turned-politician, so him saying 2025 is way better thanks to God sounds like he’s goin with divine providence—God steering things behind the scenes, even the messy 2020 stuff.
I don’t think he’s necessarily hiding anything with the God talk. It could just be his way of seeing divine providence at work, looking back and thinking it all lined up for a reason. Still, I get why you’d want him to stick to the political or business side instead of mixing in faith.
Happy to hear! I'm proud to say that this has also been my experience with my girlfriend. The past 3 years, I've been patiently dispensing redpills until she finds the exact same topics on tik tok. She once blindly hated Trump but now we point out together all bullshit the media and news say. Feels good
Even Clarence Thomas was a full on activist liberal during his college years at Yale. Our God is a God of transformation and I'm sure the Lord will set her straight in His time. Thanks for sharing.
I think about the movie The Imitation Game, where the Alan Turing's team in the British military had to let the German's continue bombing even though they were able to successfully decrypt all the Nazis' codes, in order to not raise suspiscion. I suspect what's going on right now may be something similar. We'll never know until after the fact.
Yeah, you have a great point there which does bring confusion. Salvation does have a condition which is to have faith in Jesus (in all things). You can see it as choosing to have faith is more like "accepting" the gift rather than working for it. That's my take though, hope it makes sense.
I've actually been part of the Candlelight choir every year the past 10 years (except this year because of vacation conflicts, and 2021 because they required proof of vaccine that year). Though I don't generally support Disney, the Candelight Processional from my experience is independent from the woke bullshit part of Disney and moreso following a tradition started back in the 1930s. The story of Jesus' birth and repertoire has been the same every year, believe it or not. I can only attribute that to God's grace and a miracle that this ceremony hasn't been tarnished despite all the other evils Disney is a part of. Will still participate for as long as it continues to share the story of Jesus' birth since they give out park hopper tickets and it's an easy resell lol
