All of us living in Vegas, I have moved out last year, have never considered that FBI was not involved. After a local cabbie published a recording from his cab camera (those small ones recording traffic) it was obvious to all that there were 2 distinct rifles, no way in hell one guy could do that. Also, never made sense to anyone who knows anything about guns why bring 30 odd rifles when it is way easier and faster to use one, maybe 2, and simply use plenty of mags for way quicker reloads (that would not require for one to step away from the window to grab another rifle).
