Hear me out. I keep going back to the scenario of Corporate Governance. I keep bumping into evidence that all of these world leaders (including Trump) are or have been on good terms with each other -- pictures of them partying together or speaking at the WEF, etc.
If you run this through a Corporate takeover lens, it looks like the World Powers are vying for top position amongst themselves while keeping the minions distracted and distressed with threats of illness, jail, economic catastrophe, even death.
Who will win the prize of top tyrant? who will manage the world resources and the human "problem" most effectively?
There may be White Hats in the mix, and Putin may have some justification for doing what he's doing, but it may be the REAL reason is to show how good he is at "managing resources and problem employees."

I personally would rather be born in a country where decapitation, torture, etc. is an unacceptable approach to disagreement (middle east) or where liberal protestors are free to rape, burn, pillage, and murder in the name of freedom. Some have said he has a "Might is Right" philosophy -- I think as this article suggests, he has a "Christian Morality is Right and one must be willing to take up a sword to protect it" philosophy.
Can an argument be made for the purpose of the law? Is the law in place to protect the status of marriage and the dependents that live within it? Or is the law in place to protect the "rights" of the consenting adult, regardless of the impact on society or laws that govern the rights of the married?
In blue states, children are treated as chattel by the state when a divorce occurs. The toxic, parasitic behavior of each spouse is tolerated as they have the right to be "imperfect" rather than a duty to be "good enough" parents or spouses.
I am no legal expert, but come from the perspective of dealing with the fall out of hedonism as a Clinician.

My experience in WA State with family court made my children HATE the government. My son was treated like chattel, his sperm donor demonstrated obvious psychological and emotional abuse over time, lied to the court, accused the man supporting his children of violent abuse -- and the court took pity on the victim who is 50% entitled to spend time with someone he ignored for years. oh you're a teenager with a stepfather in the picture? NOW I want to spend every other week end with you, 1/2 the summer... blah blah blah.
I wouldn't vent so openly but it's you ashland -- you've seen enough of my posts to know that we are ppl of character. It was truly heartbreaking. The kids are healing and in fact our son will be adopted by his "abuser" (ha ha-- utter malarkey) next month!

BUT, I found out that a niece I was once close to died 2 months ago from a gliablastoma. She was 46. My family is pretty healthy except for self abuse induced illnesses. It was such a shock. Brain cancer at 46? I'm guessing she was vaxxed.
I just couldn't believe how hard it hit me. My hope is that she is with my mom (her Nana) who died on her 21st or 22nd bday. Just comforting to hear about the experience of accepting crossing over.
