Canned food is the best stock pile you can have. They're cheap and you can buy a lot . Also SPAM, canned corn beef, are a good protein source and also cheap. Stock up!

Canned chicken and tuna too. And nuts, lots of nuts. Peanut butter and crackers. Cheap and last forever. Can feed yourself for months for a couple dollars. Ramen. Though its not good for you, really, when push comes to shove, its better than the alternative. Noodles, beans, rice. For fresh veges Rutabega lasts up to 5 years and my family loves it. Tastes a bit like cabbage but can be served like mashed potatoes. Butter. I have 100 lbs of this essential animal fat. Squash lasts up to 2 years.

For satisfying a sweet tooth I have the oats and honey granola both in bars and as crumble. Oatmeal both prepared and uncooked. Good source of energy. Bisquick. You can live on Bisquick indefinitely and its cheap and stores easily. I have 30 pounds of honey, raw and unfiltered. Raisins. Flour, sugar, yeast.

Get a dutch oven and a rack so you can bake on the fire. I have tons of the jiffy cornbread muffin mix. Pennys.

Water and a way to purify it. I dont own one of those water dispensers but Ive bought 30 of the big water jugs that go on them along with 5 and 1 gallon containers of water and cases and cases of bottled. Lifestraws and purification tabs. Coffee filters to filter lake and/or river water. (running water is best) Containers. Buckets to collect rain water.

Propane tanks for the grill. I have 5 150 lb tanks and a dozen or so 30 lb tanks.

I also have about 3 grand worth of MREs from mypatriotstore though I realize not everyone can afford this. Ive been buying for 4 years now.

Im ready for a siege. Ive got enough resources to keep the 5 in my household alive for a couple years with enough to spare for friends, family and neighbors lacking my foresight. I do have an advantage in my prep, I have a large house, three car garage and a polebarn for storage.

I have it all catalogued and dated for easy reference and rotating. All of it are things my family uses anyway.

It took awhile but this trucker convoy in Canada has helped me convince my extended family to stock up.

Bisquick and Jiffy cornbread mix will both go rancid. Anything with oils goes rancid including butter unless it's dried or refrigerated. Hope you have thought about getting pantry moth traps, moths LOVE granola, oatmeal products. And don't think....I had cake mixes that were TOTALLY SEALED and invaded with moths. I filled up 3-30gallon garbage cans of stored food that went bad.

Don’t stockpile and let dates go by on canned fruits, I’ve had mandarins oranges and peaches both eat through the cans and make a mess on my storage area floors. Perhaps fruits long term are best dehydrated or something else.

Many Cans are now designed to break down over a period of time.

I've found some foods that get a metallic taste from the aluminum. I'm a bit cautious when it comes to aluminum. Not fond of the idea of consuming it.

Not saying I wouldn't eat it, but I think using it MD replacing it during g quiet times is best.

Can goods last way past the pull date. The way to tell if they have gone bad: the can may be swollen; the can is leaking; if he has a pop top and it doesn't make a burp sound when opened....probably NOT good. But if the outside looks good and you open it...check for smell and if it looks weird....again probably not good. That is always a good thing to do regardless, because even new cans can fail.

Dont get me wrong, I want this to happen, but I'd hate for Amazon to circumvent the other companies.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 24 ▼
– rupedoggydawg 24 points 4 years ago +24 / -0

That's a good point. But I would assume that a truck strike would affect them also. They are not in control of their total logistics. They do have to rely on truckers who are not direct employees I assume. Another good way to strike would be to look at all the bridges that connect the country together and park the tractors all at the same time. I know that when the I75/I71 bridge had to have some work done, it made this area miserable trying to cross Ohio to KY. Now take that all over the crossroads of America and you have something.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 24 ▼

Agree. Another idea, instead of all that truck "weight" ON the bridge, I say block the bridge on both ends so no traffic can cross. Then others park trucks behind those blocking the bridge. GO TRUCKERS!

I'm in L.A. Start by cutting off L.A.

permalink save report block reply
▲ 46 ▼
– pnwhomebrewer 46 points 4 years ago +46 / -0

And San Fransisco, Portland and Seattle.

I know people in Boston, NYC and Chicago have gone through hell too like us but I think it’s more effective to break the west coast cities then the others.

The lap top ivory tower tech worker class is the one that has done the most damage to society. In addition all of these cities have ports.

I want the LA celebrities and Seattle/SF tech workers in tears with supplies totally cut off. I want non stop honking. I want to get a caravan of trucks and cars and honk the Redmond, Washington Microsoft headquarters out of existence.

Nowhere to run for the tech workers. The only place to flee the honk is rural America where they see non stop Fuck Biden and Trump Won flags.

I want to break the tech workers. There is no other group of people that I have such disdain for then them.

▲ 11 ▼
– ChronicMetamorphosis 11 points 4 years ago +11 / -0

Watch that label, there's a lot of based anons in that industry, and they're silent.

You wouldn't want the Woke sacrificing one of your own to make you think you're winning, would you?

That being said, Redmond and Seattle can go to Hell.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 10 ▼
– pnwhomebrewer 10 points 4 years ago +10 / -0

That is possible but overall the tech industry between covid crap and everyone moving here has made the greater Seattle area unlivable for working class people and others who have a functioning brain.

I took my dog out to the dog park at Marymoore and I couldn’t believe how many retards were wearing masks outside. Like WTF is wrong with these people. Seattle people are so fucking soft.

Twitter, Apple, Amazon, FB, and Google are all far more evil.

I can't think of a stand out thing Microsoft has done to target MAGA? I'm sure theres some negative points, but with the rest of big tech is so obvious and intentional, between data collection and targeting, censorship/deplatforming, "fact checking", app take downs, etc.

In reality, many of the more based engineers work there for that reason.

Is it just because of Gates? He is long gone.

I saw this comment today on an Instagram account. Posting as an FYI: I’m not familiar with the groups, I’m not on Facebook. (I’m my saying People’s convoy group is bad. Sounds like problems with FB groups.)

info going around that 2 convoys called People's convoy and the USA Super convoy who have Facebook groups are shady. Apparently there's been harassment of people in the group and suspicious dealings. People on our side have been set up before and that is a great possibility during the convoy. New York Freedom Rally IG has made a statement. Does anyone have more information on these two groups?

Stock up, frens. Have at MINIMUM enough food, provisions, and meds to comfortably ride out a month of supply interruption (2 months if you really stretch). Make sure your gas tanks are full as well (in case you need to flee authoritarian response).

Be smart and do not let yourself get caught in short supply and unable to move around.

I have two upright freezers full of meat and veggies, a 12 foot x 3 foot shelf of home canned fruits and veggies, paper products in case they shut off the power, 4 doz frozen eggs, 25 lbs of rice, beans, sugar and flour, 5 lbs of salt and oatmeal, drinking water stored and a source for same. Some medical supplies and weapons. I'm working on getting a wood stove installed and getting garden seeds/plants ready. We have the ability to cook outside if the wood stove doesn't make it in time. I had 55 gallon barrels of gas and diesel fuel but that was this summer somniw will be used to lite fires if needed to cook outside. Kind of worried about the ability to do laundry if the power goes off for very long but a little dirt never hurt anyone i guess. Everyday I think of more. Husband just got diagnosed with cancer so I'm really scared about the medical situation. I just want this over!

I'm stocked up myself but it wont last long because everyone I care about seems to think our supply chain is robust and would maybe make it 3-5 days without a trip to buy food. I could not let them starve.

That stated, a blockade of DC, LA, and NYC would really be all that was needed because that would cripple the Federal Government, the Financial markets, and the propaganda (MSM/Pedowood) media.

I hear ya. It would be awesome if people would help each other out, city to city, town to town.

Get ready to have totally empty stores.

This'll be a war of wills.

After watching the protest in Canada, I agree that "parking" is probably a better solution. No false flags, no arrest, no injuries, no lawyer fees, no traveling expenses. I don't want to see more patriots imprisoned for 1+years like J6.

The convoy has been a good idea, but will a strike accomplish anything for the good people of the US? People have been going through a lot of suffering for more than two years. I think this is a great forum, and I agree with a lot said here, in principle. But many commenters here sound like they're just masochists. Direct your energy at the people who got us into this, not regular people.

I agree... although I support the truckers, how do we know this doesnt play into the hands of the globalists wanting to destroy the economy for the "great reset"?

There is definitely a possibility that we are being baited and this is all just a continuation of the same Covid attack. It does sometimes seem like we are being tricked into hurting our own countries and economies as a way to hurt the tyrants as China just sits back and reaps the gains. Then again worker strikes have always been an effective form of protest, so who knows.

Right…a nationwide strike just hurts the everyday Americans, like kicking us while we’re down.

I hope they do it, and we won't have to feel bad that "somebody else" is doing it. We'll all sacrifice for that one.

While I hate the shortage and backlog this will create, sometimes we have to take a stand. This is hill many of us will agree to die on. I stand behind the truckers! Stock up on the simple foods that will hold your family over during this "crisis". We have to take a stand...this is it!

It won't effect the supply line for every trucker who strikes there are a 100 that won't. People don't realize how many trucks are out there. Big mega carriers like JB Hunt, Swift, Scheinder, Knight, CR England, Old Dominon on an on, management will not support it will threaten to fire their drivers and they will buckle those driver will never strike they live from paycheck to paycheck.

What we always do to prepare for a hurricane is to go to the bank and get lots of small bills. (Ones and Fives) if a long term power outage happens the stores won’t be able to take credit cards and will quickly run out of small bills and not be able to give change. I keep a stash at my house at all times.

Learned that back in the Loma Prieta earthquake. Have a stash of small bills. Too many people don't get that when the electricity is off, it is back to cash.

The Biden regime would probably use military trucking capabilities to at least provide the minimum level necessary to keep things from totally degrading to anarchy.

Nah. Military is not set up for this. They may be able to do some drops of MREs and water in various locations for awhile, but working out the logistics of shipping ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING our country ships on a day to day basis? They won’t even be able to cover 1% of that.
