It's more like if Cartoon Network said that season 5 was the last season, and we desperately looked to Justin Roiland to tell us that this wasn't true, that they were gonna make it work, go to a different network, publish independently, something. Ultimately we settled on the idea that Dan Harmon had some dirt on Cartoon Network that was so nefarious that he was going to leak it and that's how they were going to get renewed for another season. But that didn't happen and then we were stuck listening to episodes of Harmontown, trying to find hints that Rick and Morty was going to get renewed from clues in Dan's speech.
Yes, I support Q. Just like I'm a Rick and Morty fan. Yes, people make fun of me for it. So what? I believe in it! But you'd be right that I'd be mad at Justin and Dan if they made us suffer for nothing, just like I'm scared and mad right now. Why put us through the ringer like this? We've already proven we're true patriots. In the next ten days at least, let's cut the nonsense and get down to business. I don't think it's intrinsically doomer/shill to be mad and frustrated at the way things have gone so far this year.
I can't say I understand. And sometimes that makes me really confused and a little scared. But if this is all a part of the plan, then that's okay. I can just wait and see what happens. If you do the right thing, good things will end up happening.
