Ultimately we settled on the idea that Dan Harmon had some dirt on Cartoon Network that was so nefarious that he was going to leak it and that's how they were going to get renewed for another season. But that didn't happen and then we were stuck listening to episodes of Harmontown, trying to find hints that Rick and Morty was going to get renewed from clues in Dan's speech.

But you'd be right that I'd be mad at Justin and Dan if they made us suffer for nothing, just like I'm scared and mad right now. Why put us through the ringer like this?
