I'm from California and I'm conservative. Not all parts of CA are/were blue. I moved here as a place to retire in 2005. It makes me sad to see so many liberals moving in from Washington and Oregon, too. They all drive crazy and are so rude! This was my dream retirement in the beginning. Now it seems just as crowded as where I came from. :-(
