Someone just posted “Looney Tunes” in another thread and it got me thinking, “That’s funny. Tunes literally makes no sense. I know for a fact it was always Looney Toons, ‘toons’ being short for ‘cartoons.’ Tunes refers to music. That simply doesn’t make any sense. In ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ didn’t they refer to all the cartoon characters as ‘toons’? Wasn’t there a ‘Toon Town’? In fact, after the movie’s release, didn’t they build Toontown at Disneyland and Disney World’s Magic Kingdom?”

Looked it up. And sure enough, they did. Toontown is still spelled that way. And it only made sense that they would, because the damn show was called Looney Toons.

I could go on with famous quotes like “Mirror Mirror on the wall” (now appears to say “Magic Mirror on the wall”) that have been quoted in hundreds of other Hollywood movies (“No, I am your father” instead of “Luke, I am your father”, or Hannibal Lecter saying “Good morning” instead of “Hello Clarice”, etc.) and they’re all compelling.

But the biggest one for me has always been Fruit of the Loom underwear. I know for a fact that the logo used to have a cornucopia in it. I know because I used to sit there as a child and think “Ok there’s the fruit. So that thing must be called a loom.” Even after I learned what a cornucopia was, I still assumed the underwear had something to do with Thanksgiving, or that maybe “loom” was another name for cornucopia, or maybe it was considered a cornucopia only when there was fruit sitting in it, and that on its own it was called a loom.

This wasn’t just something I could misremember. It represented, funny as it sounds, some of my earliest development in the area of logic as a child. The memory is strong because of how it forced me to reason. This isn’t something one can simply misremember, like a line from a movie, or the approximate date of a famous person from Africa dying. This was something I thought about every single time I looked at my damn underwear as a child: “If this is the fruit, this thing must be the loom.”

And millions of others remember it too. But the company swears its logo has never changed from what it is now.

To me that’s the smoking gun that this whole thing is bullshit.

But why? It just smacks of a psyop to me. But with what goal? Well, what was the result? Well…it got a lot of people engaged in questioning their own minds, their own memories, and their own assumptions.

At first I thought of it as a likely BH psyop designed to further unravel the fabric of society away from believing in objective truth (see: trannies ana trying to normalize pedophilia), but I’m starting to think it either backfired, or was a WH, or even Q quantum computer operation all along to help the masses start down the road of critical thinking. Something tells me it played a role in waking a lot of people up, or at least priming them for their wake up.

Thoughts?

How on earth, after all we’ve just seen, after how Lara Trump’s team has shown what it can do, as we watch the Mexican standoff in AZ between Maricopa and the red counties, can anyone doubt at this point that NCSWIC?

Stop worrying. Worry is doubt + fear. It’s the opposite of faith. Start FEELING the way you’ll feel when the big red bow ties up this election for good right now and say thank you and just enjoy the show, baby. The details are moot when you already know how the movie ends. There is no bad news at this point. Just good news in disguise.

Enjoy.

Just got finished reading this, as I’d heard it was some time traveler book that seemed to foretell what we were about to see very shortly.

No. It’s basically a doomer story of how, just prior to 1900, after a populist president is elected and does away with usury and returns us to the gold/silver standard, our country erupts into chaos, collapses, and divides back into 50 states as a last resort.

So…any reason people here keep touting this thing?

This is Trump country, plain and simple. There are no fence sitters left. You're either for Trump or against, and that colors your opinion of everything that happens. Whether the moderators helped Kamala or not (they did) Trump didn't come off very well in that debate (maybe by design), and it didn't matter one iota. The country has made its choice, and that choice is clearly reflected in all of the polls asking who won the debate last night. Without cheating, Trump will win bigger than Reagan did.

Thanks!

Not sure if it's been posted yet but I just saw the Jordan Peterson interview of Elon talking about why he's on a crusade to destroy "the woke mind virus." He said he was advised (said "tricked") to let his son Xavier take "puberty blockers" during Covid before he knew much about it, and that they never explained to him that those are simply sterilization drugs. He says they took his son from him. That his son, Xavier, is dead. And that after that happened "I made it my mission to destroy the woke mind virus."

If Musk ISN'T part of the Q team, this would certainly explain his role, knowingly or unknowingly, in the Q plan, by being the person to free Twitter.

I have felt since that very day that the pendulum that had begun to swing so aggressively in the wrong direction after the 2020 election, that that exact moment signaled the end of its upward trajectory. It was the definitive moment in my mind when public opinion, now free to be spoken aloud by the real majority, became the dominant voice online, and it was that moment I felt beyond a shadow of a doubt that this war wasn't over, and that we would indeed be victorious.

Super sad that he got swindled in that way. What a price to pay for ignorance. Hopefully they find a way to heal those who made this mistake someday. But thank God for Elon's crusade. Part of the Q team or not, his personal mission has blessed this country in immeasurable ways. I don't know the man's entire story but I know enough to feel grateful for him. God works in mysterious ways. Sometimes he lets us be incredibly stupid so that we can wake up to the gravity of our sins and repent. God bless Elon.

Just like in Hunt for Red October, they turned into the torpedo, so it didn't have time to arm, and changed the trajectory of where it was going to strike and ended up glancing off/grazing the sub instead of destroying it. All these graphics showing what would have happened had Trump not literally turned toward the oncoming bullet and it just hit me. Not some massive proof or something, but kinda funny nonetheless.

Every time I've watched his "Washington Establishment" speech I've thought "What does he mean by 'neverthelss, I take all of these slings and arrows for you'? Always seemed like a melodramatic way of talking about being criticized by the media."

All all of the sudden it doesn't seem so dramatic. And it makes me wonder how many more hits he's agreed to take for this cause.

Just sayin.

Let’s say you were kicked out of a store for doing something they found disruptive and told you were no longer allowed to shop there. If you were to go back you could rightfully be charged with criminal trespassing.

Or if you were to take a shortcut through someone’s apple orchard on your way to work every day and the owner told you to stop doing that and you did it again, same thing.

That’s trespassing. Tres-PASSING (I think the word literally means “passing over” or “passing through.”) You have every right to keep people from coming onto your property for ANY reason and if they refuse to comply you can get the law involved.

But it seems like an entirely different thing if someone intended to come into your store and LIVE there, or to straight up pitch a tent on your apple orchard and LIVE there.

There’s the word “squatting” but that generally applies only to unused habitable property spurred by an emergency of some kind (i.e. if your family is about to freeze to death and you have nowhere else to go and you spot a half filled apartment building and you camp inside until the weather improves, etc.) so squatting isn’t really strong enough of a term either.

And since squatting is more a term used to describe an act born of desperation then “trespassing with intent to squat” doesn’t really capture the essence of this crime either.

Breaking and entering is a crime but when you think of someone breaking and entering you generally assume it’s for a temporary reason as well—usually for stealing or squatting.

So when you enter another country without that country’s permission for the intent of actually living there, the word “immigration” as part of the term really tugs at the wrong strings somehow. “Illegal immigration” just doesn’t carry enough rhetorical weight to it somehow.

We need a term that really hits at the heart of this crime that can’t easily be argued with that has some heft but doesn’t rise to the level of hyperbole in the mind of the average citizen. It needs to be accurate, pejorative in nature to reflect the criminal element of it, but without sounding unreasonably alarmist.

As I brainstorm myself I’d welcome any ideas you might have.

For example: let’s say we charged them with “invasion.” When you think of an invasion what comes to mind? An individual or family or small group? No. So just charging them with “invasion” might rise to the level of hyperbole and miss the mark for the average person (even though thats what it is). But there’s got to be something. I think maybe it should include a word that specifies the crossing of a legally recognized national border.

That is all.

Put it all his bottles over the weekend and on his sores topically just once. It’s Monday morning and it’s like he never had it. Usually takes 10 days and it’s a nightmare.

Thanks, horse paste! ;)

Can’t remember his name or website can someone help me out?

Looked into it. This isn’t what I thought it was. They aren’t looking to ban sudafed where the active ingredient is pseudoephedrine, which is the stuff that actually works that you have to scan your drivers license at the pharmacy counter to buy, it’s the over the counter kind where the active ingredient is phenylephrine which, the FDA unfortunately is right, literally doesn’t work for shit. My wife and I learned this a long time ago. If you can buy it without a drivers license honestly I couldn’t care less if they ban it because I honestly don’t know what it even does. But the good stuff that you need a drivers license to buy apparently isn’t going anywhere so we can probably put our pitchforks down on this particular issue at least.

Thanks!

I’ve heard them say it in commercials for several different drugs now. Wonder why they’d be concerned?

There seems to be some confusion on this board on this topic. I think the fact that these words have “ism” at the end that might be the source of this confusion.

Let’s be clear: Communism and Socialism are economic schemes. Socialism is the overtaxing parasite that weakens an economy and creates enough unemployment to fool people into thinking that free markets do not work (they do) and that the only way to stop the suffering is to give complete control of the marketplace to the government and let them control both production and distribution of everything we need (Communism).

That, of course, is a completely ridiculous and unsustainable economic scheme that only has a chance of working if you eliminate human nature and free will and everyone works to the very best of their capabilities merely to warrant the exact same reward as everyone around them, no matter how meager their individual efforts.

The practice of forcing people to go along with this scheme is known as fascism. Another way to say fascism is “force-ism” or, frankly, totalitarianism, dictatorship, etc. It’s essentially slavery. The closest thing we have to fascism in the united states is our prison system, where many rights are vastly curtailed, but honestly, American prisoners have more rights than people living in fascist regimes.

Here’s where the confusion comes in: Hitler was a fascist. He was because he was a dictator. But he was not a communist. He let business and trade go on as usual within germany but he was always watching and if he ever saw something he didn’t like or suspected anything or saw something he wanted for himself he would merely take it, kill or imprison whoever, etc. and nobody had any rights or legal recourse to oppose him.

Lenin, Stalin, and Mao were also fascist dictators, but they preached and tried to implement communism as their economic models. Of course they had to murder anyone who didn’t want to play ball and that’s exactly what they did.

But take note: communism needs fascism simply to be implemented because there will always be people who don’t want to play ball, so communist regimes are always fascist, but like Hitler, not all fascist regimes try to implement communism.

Fascism = dictatorship/totalitarianism. No rights. Only privileges at the behest of the person/people in charge.

Communism = an economic scheme that ignores human nature and never works and always results in economic collapse

Socialism = A wannabe dictatorship government overtaxing its citizens to fool them into thinking free markets don’t work and that Communism is the only way to eliminate poverty, crime, and suffering. “The Royal Road to Communism”

Take the CCP (Chinese Communist Party). They have communism in their name but they abandoned communism years ago. They’re still fascist though. They still control everyone, but they’ve embraced a kind of crony capitalism in order to survive economically. Thus, communists are always fascists but fascists are not always communists and sometimes even former communists (like China).

Another thing: when you think of left vs. right imagine a scale with totalitarianism/dictatorship/centralized one world government on the far left and complete anarchy with zero enforceable contracts or laws or anything on the extreme far right. We on this board believe that we should be free to do as we please as long as we don’t infringe on the rights of others and we do see a need for a neutral third party (government) who works for us (not us for them) to resolve disputes and prosecute crimes but that’s about it. Leftists want a welfare state where daddy government tells us what we can and can’t do and gives us what we need no questions asked.

All communists and fascists are leftists. Period.

I just turned it on. Fascinated by the fact that Trump and his family agreed to do the documentary. Any reviews so far?

*Edit - Finished first episode. Currently about 15 minutes into the second. Thus far there are two stories being told: one is what Donald and his kids are actually saying and the other is what these MSM “experts” keep saying. The “experts” clearly want to paint his relationship with his children in a negative light (e.g., them implying he made his children compete for his attention and approval) but the children immediately making it clear that wasn’t the case at all. Like they want to paint him in a bad light, and are desperately trying to, but just don’t have very much to work with that would confirm that narrative.

Will keep updating as I watch.

Edit 2: Yeah. Episode 2 was nothing but a hack job repeating bullshit MSM talking points about no evidence of election fraud, etc. Bullshit.

Not even sure I’n saying it right. Been mentioned here many times before I just can’t remember.

My guess? Trump, et al knew that Biden had classified docs he shouldn't have had access to but there was no way simply alerting the press to that fact was going to create so much as a ripple in their timeline. So what does he do? He lays a trap. He knows the fake news can't help themselves. He knows they'll use anything and everything he gives them if they think it can help them. He knows he has every right to keep classified docs as President and to declassify them whenever and however he wants. But he knows a VP has no such authority.

So he lays the trap. Creates this whole scene in his house of all this classified/now unclassified material that reminds of the "orgy of evidence" in the movie "Minority Report" and the salivating fake news jumps all over it, inventing reasons for people to be upset about this. Gets them to REALLY dig into this story hard and then...

Boom. Oh look. Biden has that kind of stuff too. Only...he wasn't actually allowed to have that stuff the way Trump was.

The scrambling of the media to spin this story is hilarious. The dug their own grave on this one. Trump got them again. Brilliant.

I saw some good ones before but now all I see is some infowars bullshit. Anybody have the one where the guy does the breakdown with squibs and such?
