History reveals the great city of Babylon was conquered in one night, without resistance, in 539 BC by Cyrus the Great. Revelation 14:8 reads:
14:8 And there followed another Angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great citie, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Cyrus restored Babylon to glory (for a time) and built a Great Wall. Got rid of all the corrupt bad guys and brought great prosperity.
And as the Prophecies say that Trump was chosen to be 'as Cyrus' - then he MUST prevail and serve 2 terms.

Those prophecies and the rest of the 'woo' surrounding Trump are the thing that keeps me hanging on and having faith that he will win and defeat the Baal worshippers.

I had that gentle nudge in 1995. When I didn't follow it, I got the rug pulled out from under me. Only then did I choose to follow that not-so-gentle nudging.
That must be the wall scholars refer to. Twelve feet deep surrounding the city. About three hundred years later, Alexander took Babylon for Greece and all those rocks became a quarry for Greek new construction. How's that for an insult!
Ask Jesus to help your unbelief, to show you the Truth and be sincerely looking. He will answer you. He loves you and is real. Anyone telling you otherwise is deceived.
Read the Bible for yourself. Don't listen to naysayers. It is a supernatural book. Just read, maybe beginning with John or Luke. He will answer sincere seekers who don't demand He come on your terms. He is God. Not us. Be humble.

It says “city”. So I’ve always thought it might be NY City or maybe LA ( Hollywood). It talks about sexual sin being the thing that causes it to get destroyed so that would make me think of LA more than NY.

Not according to Jesus. It's the ONLY place that killed the prophets. That is a past event used for the marker. Only Jerusalem applies. God takes his anger out on Jerusalem in Rev. Read it closer.

To show you how bad hell really is. God forgives everyone. He sends no one to hell. The simple catch is this. We must be willing to accept that forgiveness. We must be willing to put aside our pride and accept what God as provided. People that refuse to do that will NEVER have peace. They have placed themselves in hell because they cannot abide being in the truth. People that refuse to accept the truth have become their own judge. That judge is a wrathful judge. Free will is an awesome and terrible gift. We can choose to trust God or we can choose to trust ourselves. In a way God created hell not as a place of punishment but as a mercy. A place where eternal souls can exist outside of truth. God did not create the punishment. They did that on their own. They will forever yearn to escape but the only escape is to accept the truth which is in complete opposition to everything they hold tight.
If God did send people to hell. I could see Him freeing people from hell sometime way off in the future.
If on the other hand people reject the truth....
Someone that refuses to accept truth will never be set free. They have brought about their own judgement
