Yes, Q sent me there during the Q&A, that was like three years ago, wow.
You can use https://searchvoat.co/ to find posts. It searches all of Voat, so if you're looking for something specific in the Q "anonymous" forum, QRV, you need to do a few things:
Put the search text in the box at the top.
Over on the right, under "Within subverse(s)", type "QRV".
Then below that, click the check box for "Search post body" (unless you know that what you're searching for, was in the title).
Finally, select the radio button (the circle) for "NSFW: include", as QRV's posts were marked that. Then click the "Search" button.
Additionally, if you had a link to something at voat.co, you can just "add 'search' to the beginning of the URL" and it will bring up the same content -- i.e., change "voat.co" to "searchvoat.co".
The only thing "missing" from the content, will be how it was voted. I guess that also means that things that were downvoted lower than -4, won't be "hidden" like they were on Voat, so you'll end up seeing a bit more filth.
I think I had made 21 of them or so before it went down. I had started daily digest posts to help out Wins of the Day Anon (WinsAnon) who was out for surgery for a few days, which ended up being a week.
Someone called me "VerboseAnon" and I liked it, so I bought the domain. :)
Others also appreciated my additional "editorializing", I guess, and asked for me to continue as did WinsAnon, so I have been doing so for a few days at my site.
kek, I just searched for my posts, and reading through my farewell I see that it also doesn't have the "[S]" to indicate who the submitter is (it also changed their usernumber to purple; the others were blue), as I see I had responded to someone's comment but it looks like it was another user (to me; since I had spent time on Voat). So that's also going to be confusing for newcomers.
There's tons of info on there though. Anyway you can see why they call me VerboseAnon! :)
In case you're interested, that farewell was https://searchvoat.co/v/QRV/4174416 and I put forward-and-backwards URL links in all my posts, so if you got to one, you can get to them all. (Of course, I just tested this and it's not simple: clicking on it gives an error since it goes to Voat; then I added "search" before "voat.co" and it worked.)
With this hernia and concussions I'm not the best "public personality" lol. But I am strongly considering the local state house. Keeping options open; it's helpful to be "retired" of sorts, fewer commitments so I get to make my own. Guess that's one reason I'm so verbose! :)
Yeah, that term really tickles me! Because I grew up in "open source software" and now that the concussions have taken me out of software development and into a new field of journalism -- I find the same term being used! :)
[They] gave us a ton of info in the movies and TV shows. And, I stopped watching for the most part years ago, not quite a decade and I still occasionally will watch a movie (Tenet sucked, was just "special effects strung together"). So I don't get nearly as much "input" from their motives and motivations that are put into their productions, as I used to.
But I've seen enough to put interesting pictures together.
For instance, the last two Avengers movies' running times total exactly 330 minutes; a "33" reference, the highest degree of Masonry and also the number of bones in the spine (and more). Converting to hours, it's 5h30m, or 5.5 hours, a "5 by 5" reference. The timing tells me that the Q team is involved, similar to how the Twitter "DOITQ" image filename told me the Q team has code at Twitter.
In those movies, half the people die. For five years. Then they come back, but when they come back they haven't aged. Not sure people will be coming back, but the sites that we lost? All that data is there (even if just the copy at searchvoat.co) so the possibility that the site can come back is greater than zero.
I often get lost in what I'm saying as well. Tell me about the video scrapbook?
Nice, would love to take a look at some of them, if you would share a pointer! If you're having difficulty I can help with the search; were you "Suzeq2018" there as well?
I've learned "The GIMP" (open source Photoshop) recently, making memes and whatnot. Haven't gotten into video production although I have a friend who makes movies so if I ever get to leave the house again :) I can learn from him.
That :) in the last sentence is because there's truth in humor and I'll be leaving the house, soon. January 6th is a celebration, not a riot. Although it, "will be wild"!!!
yes, I had the same name, but only posted enough to get my 100 ccp, saved my effort for the anonymous sub. and not searching for anything in particular at the moment, things change so quickly, but sure happy the option is available! I remember Q saying something about a celebration that will make the Super Bowl look like the puppy bowl, maybe this is it, so have fun on the 6th, and take lots of notes:)
Haha, love your ending! Like you I only used the username to be able to communicate anonymously; not even sure what I had said. :)
(Comes with the territory of concussions though!)
Still getting the hang of here. Decorated my comments at Voat sometimes with use of "all lowercase" if responding within a thread, to "differentiate" them from others; then later, used "otheranon here," to begin the comment with, which seemed to work better. None of that necessary, here. :)
They sure do change quickly! I love the backwards masking (kek!) of the bomb warning, "It will come quickly, are you ready for a Merry Christmas?" :)
You are welcome. I know lots of stuff and have lots of gaps as well. Feel free to ask anything and if I know or can find the answer, well, it's ask and receive, right? :)
That's hilarious, as I just responded to @x-no-archive (does that work? Oh, I see the "Preview Mode" is above here, not below like at Voat -- learning the ropes! So, no, adding the "@" sign doesn't make it a link to the user), that he harvested tears of my own!
These are not tears of loosh, though. ;)
I'm just some guy who's seen a bunch of stuff and can work a keyboard. Thank you so much for appreciating my output, it really helps.
Also I've had concussions and am rather forgetful. I try to always be kind but if I forget what we're talking about, well, hilarity might ensue? With me, you do get a second chance to make a first impression. :)
God bless. (And if it seems like I say that a lot? It's concussions-related, in more than one way as well.)
Great to meet you! I didn't participate in the "non-anon" forums on Voat much at all, was there for QRV. I was also "Digits" and bought NMBRFG a laptop. I notice that there aren't "digits" here, on posts and comments; that was a fun thing to do, finding the dubs, trips, and my new expertise, palindromes.
Woke up with sniffles and was feeling bodily-unhappy as I watered the basement garden. Lots of lettuce and tomatoes, the beefsteak are just starting to bud. Then checked replies and I am so happy right now!
I love this place and I haven't been here 24 hours yet!
You just caused an outburst of laughter, thank you!!! Then I had to go in the other room and explain to my wife why, and she loved it.
We're two minutes to midnight, according to that domino/hard drive image series! Let's just stay out of the iron maiden though, learned about that as a teenager while playing Dungeons and Dragons and, like Piers Anthony's short story "On the Uses of Torture", it's not something for children.
Neat reference in the first movie though! :) God bless.
The meaning used to be, "giving hugs" and the more parentheses, the more love.
That meaning has now changed and I don't know this site well enough to know whether we can talk about the new meaning, freely here.
I just created this account and need to learn the ropes here.
I'm being completely open in this response: it is not easy to tell whether your question is an attempt to "summon a mod" or is just innocent. For most questions, "search is your friend" although I am also. :)
Just genuinely curious! I spent some time on Voat years ago, but didn't notice the usage.
Thank you for your open answer on the original usage. You've piqued my curiosity for the new usage, but you don't have to answer if you'd be uncomfortable.
And, remembered a third reason they were initially chosen: because it is difficult to tell a search engine, "search for this search term with parentheses around it." If you are searching using regex (regular expressions) then you could do it as "(term)" to search for "term" with one set of parens around it.
And want to be clear, I wasn't "casting aspersions" at you by saying "I'm not exactly certain how I should take this input" -- I was just "sharing some of my processing" as it were. Everything is input, processing, and output. :)
Yes, yes we do. I'm struggling with going back to Twitter (we all have our issues; (one of) mine is I fell in with someone who attacks others and don't like the association and expect to be attacked when I end it, so I'm ending my participation there which doesn't seem rational, but then, I'm concussed so... Also, not everything has to make sense, at the time, either).
I took a couple days to find new sources, while still writing at my site. Yesterday I started figuring out 8kun, and also started here.
hey there, welcome !
I wish I knew about Voat before it shutdown. Is there some archive of old posts?
Hi, thank you!

Thanks for this, I will have a fun time reading all this, as I wait for Jan 6th celebrations!!
Yeah I'm torn now, after having read this awesome comment last night which will go into today's report: https://greatawakening.win/p/11RNy7lRXI/x/c/4DrwC9joJFc

I have been hearing about Open Source intelligence from various people, perhaps thats a good place to be in!
Yeah, that term really tickles me! Because I grew up in "open source software" and now that the concussions have taken me out of software development and into a new field of journalism -- I find the same term being used! :)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OSI_model (Your use of "Open Source intelligence" recalled that I had seen "OSI" in my career.)
God bless.
thank you, now I can search for my video scrapbook. was sad to think all that great information was lost.
You're welcome! I have a feeling it'll come back.

I look forward to VerboseAnon continuance.
Thank you. You bring a huge smile and a barrage of welcome tears into my existence. God bless.
I appreciate all the shill tears you allowed us to harvest over those weeks. I will be forever indebted to the nourishment you provided me.
Yum yum.

Hey brother my name was damoclesofbenghazi from over there

Hi. Thanks.
You're welcome! Thank you.
Come on in. The water is terrific here!
It certainly looks to be!
Woke up with sniffles and was feeling bodily-unhappy as I watered the basement garden. Lots of lettuce and tomatoes, the beefsteak are just starting to bud. Then checked replies and I am so happy right now!

Welcome! Your Verbosity is most excellent!
You just caused an outburst of laughter, thank you!!! Then I had to go in the other room and explain to my wife why, and she loved it.

Hi new Fren!
I had a question for new Voat transplants that I think you might be able to help with??
I've noticed different punctuation / editing used lately. Most notably the use of parentheses around words or phrases, sometimes multiples.
(single) ((double)) (((triple)))
Is there meaning in these uses??
Yes.
The meaning used to be, "giving hugs" and the more parentheses, the more love.
That meaning has now changed and I don't know this site well enough to know whether we can talk about the new meaning, freely here.
I just created this account and need to learn the ropes here.

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=why+do+people+put+parentheses+around+names&ia=web is another way to get to the answer, without "being anti-satanic", a reference to Revelation 2:9 and 3:9. God told us a lot in His book.
God bless.
Just genuinely curious! I spent some time on Voat years ago, but didn't notice the usage.
Thank you for your open answer on the original usage. You've piqued my curiosity for the new usage, but you don't have to answer if you'd be uncomfortable.
Thank you for your time!
Oh -- I did answer, just follow that link! :)

I sort of started in QRV, but didn't spend much time there. Nice to you here.
Thank you! Great to see you as well!
It took you long enough. What kept you? We need more WINs!
