My understanding is that if a Senator and a Congressman object to the electoral votes, then they, Senate and House, separate and discuss. If they split, House and Senate, as to whether or not to toss the EC votes, then Pelosi takes over Jan 20 until it gets 'sorted out'. If Pence chooses to count the alternate EC votes of contested states, then the Pres wins, done except for the civil war. But it seems if Pence fails and the House cannot be brought to agree to toss the EC votes, we all lose, Pelosi can only be disaster for the world.

Pelosi must send it to the state legislatures who then get 1 vote for each state. After the 3rd, there will be 30 states with GOP legislatures, so Trump wins that way as well.

True on loyalty issue. The R does matter, however, because the majority party picks the important Chair positions for the senate committee's. The chair controls the agenda for each committee where so much of the senates work is actually done. Administratively, a Rino is still more valuable than a Dem and sadly we do need them.
Have heard SP and LW and others say Doug Collins was the victim of the cheating. There was no way the DS was going to let this great Trump supporter in.
