Sciatica, which is what it sounds like he's suffering from, originates in the lower back but can hurt all down your leg even into your foot at times. So both articles are correct.
Yeah he had to bend over to grab the altar boy and pulled a muscle. As a Catholic I am ashamed and appalled at the digusting behavior of Mr. Bergoglio and am anxiously awaiting the next papal conclave.

Sciatica is the worst. When its bad you cant get relief sitting, standing, nothing. It goes down leg, one the other both.
