There is no longer any reason to believe the "Democrats" currently sitting in Congress are capable of governing in a bipartisan manner. While I wish relations between the parties were more congenial, I no longer believe it's possible - the vast majority of Dems are infected deeply with TDS, and there's no swift or easy cure for it. The only answer is for the Democrat constituents to get their fill of their representatives not representing them and VOTE THEM OUT. Until that time, there's no benefit in pretending the Dems are reasonable or humane.
