I came here from TD... I still drop in over there to see what's going on, but I couldn't take the attack on reason over there. I still go doomer sometimes (yesterday was a very bad day) but this place tends to give me some hope when I get like that. Plus, it seems the people are more logical.

What I find interesting is many people who are on TeamQ still hold one foot out of the water. I don't want to call it an insurance policy but more of a reality check to make sure you don't let yourself go too far down the hole. I get it because it is such a roller coaster. What I wonder about are the people who absolutely will not entertain the idea at all, but rather sneer and point fingers, call people names. Hey, I am totally willing to admit that I could be way, way off, but it is not reciprocated. It is difficult to even have a theoretical conversation. It kind of reminds me of when DJT won in 2016. One friend of mine and I were having lunch in maybe September when we whispered to each other 'I think he is going to win.' Contrast with another friend who was very much in the HRC camp, and was so devastated she couldn't talk to me for a couple of days. I just told her that the difference was, even though I thought he was going to win, I was prepared for the loss.
