I think the "senior officials" were trying to screw Trump. But what about Ratcliffe? I think he is a good guy. If he was a bad guy, he would have just delayed it until after the 20th. But instead, he delivered what he had after the GA round 2 election and the certification.

Could not have been more obvious timing.
