Not sure I fit the autism descriptor either, but also consider myself as analytical, intuitive and empathic. This post was very interesting to me, because I used to worry that I understood what bad or dangerous people were thinking or likely to do. I was afraid it might mean I had the same tendencies LOL.
I can't understand what people don't see in the current situation, either. They don't recognize patterns of human behavior. Can they not see that these people that seem to HATE Trump with a passion are simply terrified? Do they not understand that the "tell" is as much what they don't talk about as what they do talk about? I keep asking people why they think the press would try to ignore or bury salacious (i.e. extremely lucrative) stories, such as Jeffrey Epstein and his Island for princes and playboys, or the NXIVM, Seagram Heiress, Hollywood actress sex slave intrigue. Money is not enough motivation to talk about it. So what's influencing that decision? They just stare at me.
Why would people who talked ad nauseam about the horrors of GITMO be radio silent about the fact that Trump dumped millions into it and more than doubled capacity almost immediately after taking office? Did they suddenly not think GITMO was so bad? To me the answer is, obviously, it's so fricking scary to them they don't want to think about it. At all. They put it out of their mind immediately like a little kid that starts to think about ghosts, or something bad happening to their parents.
The amount of unwarranted hatred for Trump immediately after his announcement was a huge tip off for me. Especially since he was the toast of the town before he ran. That defies logic. The only explanation is they are trying to hide/defend something. In 2016 I tried to get my brother in law to understand the Podesta emails and how bad Hilary is and he refused to even look. If it’s wrong why not look?
During a press conference early on, Trump said he's "going to put her in it". Her referred to Hillary Clinton and it referred to GITMO. He's been moving his pieces in place for a long time now. It's about to get interesting!
I remember my first holy shit on gitmo was the padded cell bid request sheet getting published. It was a big proof early on that something yuge was coming.
I love talking to anons. IRL I live amongst the common clay. How many people you think gave a shit about anything? When Ruth died and I'd go on a roll, most common response was "who?"
I feel like I was born awake. I simply cannot understand those who STILL cannot see.
All good points. Yeah I sometimes find myself noticing “the dog that doesn’t bark”, and I’m still surprised how few of my friends and acquaintances do.

I've never thought much about the silence on gimto expansion. That's a very good angle. Seems so obvious now that you said it.
