Then one said: 'We are honored and thank you and your son.'
We didn't further intrude on their privacy. Ate our brunch and while we we're leaving, I said: 'Where we go one...."
Pretty sure you can guess how they responded.
I nearly lost it... it was an amazing moment.
WE GO ALL
Doesn't count. I'm asking Oh well, Ian to enunciate the full letter of the reply.
I'll be patient.
" We Go All "
Let me just say I see Air Force troops from Patrick pretty frequently. Almost all are stoic but polite but you could never say they were 'happy' or looked like they were having a good time. These soldiers ( 2 women, 1 man ) were laughing and enjoying themselves. Brand new uniforms. Black Berets. SF patch on right arm.
Thank you Oh.
Deeply appreciated.
I'm curious as to how you interpret the interaction, including their manner and temperament.
At this point, I'm thinking personal direct experience is far, far more valuable than all the speculations and wonderings and random facts being presented.
What are YOUR conclusions from this interaction? What did it make you think? What did you walk away with?
Either way, thank you VERY much for responding above. I salute you.
